I swear, that sandal kicking projectile is underrated and very original. Funny as hell. But it's amazing we don't see many projectiles that draw inspiration from that. Not that it's popular enough for developer to want to start cloning off of it.

Mizoguchi is really fun to play in MI Regulation A Too bad its sequel (Regulation A 2) was cancelled FALCOON confirmed that Samchay, another character from Fighter's History, was going to be in the roster

Bro I'm shock Mizoguchi was in a KoF game 😮 . I got a love hate relationship with Capcom in the 90s yeah SF series is perfect, but suing Data East kinda D**k move , Arcade "Fighter's History" UI character selection the only thing they got in common with SF2 . The rest of the characters like Ray remind me more of Terry Bogard , Mizoguchi not that much of a Ryu ripoff .

Nope Fighter's History and all Data East IP were adquired by a subsidiary of Marvelous, Makoto here was part of a deal to make two games with him (the other one was Fighter's History and Fatal Fury crossover mobile gane)

It was called *Garou Densetsu vs. Fighter's History Dynamite* A mobile game released in 2007 The game was primarily developed by G-mode (the actual owners of the Fighter's History's IP) This collaboration title was created to celebrate Fatal Fury′s 15th Anniversary. It also gave a chance for both companies to share the intellectual property for Fighter's History. SNK Playmore returned the sentiments by placing Makoto Mizoguchi in KOF Maximum Impact Regulation A Mizoguchi is also FALCOON's (who was the producer of the KOFMI2 and MIA) favorite character in his gaming days He confirmed that 'Regulation A 2' was going to have Samchay in the roster, sadly the game was cancelled Would love to see more Fighter's History characters in SNK games! Ryoko, Yungmie, Karnov, Jean, Clown are my favorites

Samchay was going to appear in the sequel of Regulation A, called Regulation A 2 Sadly, the game was cancelled 😞 I really want to see more Fighter's History characters in SNK games Ryoko, Yungmie, Karnov, Jean and Clown are my favorites

@@meganinten0078 Man, I never knew there was going to be another sequel to the MI games, wow. I’m guessing Falcoon leaving had something to do with it getting cancelled, or vice versa. Yea people rag on FH as just a poor SF clone but I liked the games, particularly FH Dynamite. Zazie was always one of my favorites, I thought his moveset was very unique with the ducking and feints. I was a fan of Ray “baked potato” McDougal as well lol.

I played first Fighters History back then on SNES, it's a faithful port of the arcade and plays very smooth, but sadly it wasn't well known and most ppl at the time played the far more popular Street Fighter 2 and its literations. There exists also a second, obscure, SNES exclusive and Japan only release of Fighters History, with Mizoguchi as main character and optional story mode, but I don't remember its name now (something Japanese with Mizoguchi's name in it)...🤔 Karnov's Revenge for AES/MVS is an interesting one as well, quite fast paced, with a Neo Geo typical four button system and very aggressive, sometimes cheap AI. I noticed they're still playing it on Fightcade 2. I always thought the collection of Fighters History games, at least the mentioned old school titles, were a good choice for someone who wanted something a little different than Street Fighter or KoF. Imo, the old 2D games with their beautyful pixel art (especially the majority of backgrounds in Karnov's Revenge looks great) are still absolutely worth to play.

Mizoguchi has the best lines 😆 SNK Playmore put a lot of work on Mizoguchi's gameplay I like the detail that he suffers 1.5 more of damage if you hit his headband, that is a cool reference to the weak point mechanic of the Fighter's History games 👍 Also, I like that Mizoguchi throws his geta in this game, a funny and unique move
