Will axel back quad exit sound similar? Same car.

I have the axle back and honestly yes. It sounds somewhat similar. The axle back is a lot quieter on idle. But similar noise in the rpms just doesn't have that growl rasp that the cat back has. also the axle back on the auto has the farts but only when hitting high rpms into an upshift.

This whole small displacement engine boosted to death to fake good economy figures thing is such bull. There’s no way people won’t be in boost most of the time getting the same mpg as a 2.5-3L engine, and they won’t last as long as a 2.0L turbo running a low boost either.

I got 35-40 mpg running a mk6 Jetta a few years ago. Your statement applies more to the Tiguan etc. I’ve recorded 9mpg at its worst while doing the daily commute in summer.

These 1.4 are really powerful for the size and definitely good mpg. Also very reliable and many have high mileage without issues

Not me over here getting 45-50mpg and only having to fill the tank once a month. Lol I’ve gotten better mpg since the intake, charge pipe, blow off valve, and intake. Better air flow, better gas mileage.

Idk I’ve always had positive feedback on how mine sounded and it was a 3in to a 2.5in straight pipe with the secondary cat delete to quad burnt tips
