I never considered changing my reverse light bulbs untill I watched this. Top video dude. I have the standard headlights as the salesman made a boo boo (he later got the sack) and I was shocked at how little they illuminate the road.

Ricky Millar Yup, they aren’t great. The MK7 headlights were poor so I imagine the MK8 headlights are similar. Glad you enjoyed the video 😁

Thanks for guide!! In 4.44 min at the point the light goes to plate number the left side is more closer to the paint than the right. Same on my fiesta. I dont know why...

After watching this video I ordered the bulbs from ceuk, they arrived yesterday, and can I get the rear lights off....errrrrrrrr no. 20 mins per corner wrestling with the lens. Given up mate I'll end up breaking them. Great vids by the way. Anyone want a set of bulbs ☹

Can you tell me which one is the positive wire on the reverse light as all the wires are black as I have a dash cam that I want to wire to it

Apologies, if they are not labelled then I can't comment, I would suggest running a cable from the fusebox at the front.

I thought the reverse lights are good in my Mk7.5 Fist ST. Ive often thought a car was oncoming when reversing off my drive but was the light from my reverse lights illuminating the road.

Ok so I tried to change the reverse bulbs on my 2019 ST line but cant get the housing off! I screwed the plastic bolt as described the the light cluster seems to be stuck to the car in one corner?? Help!

@@JBCTR yes thanks. I found another video which showed the back of the light cluster so worked out it was just a tight lug. Reverse and fogs now upgraded. Thanks for the links.

@@SamFullick there is a plastic lug holding it on which is just very stiff. It will come out.

I've upgraded my car with the same as yours, but unfortunately they are causing disruption with my DAB radio, every time I put it in reverse my DAB radio signal will become really unstable and cut out several times. I'm really disappointed with this product, any other experience the same issue ?

Fiesta vignale mk8. I just installed them, but since it's tilted in the casing then the light shutes down in the casing and only a very little portion of the led shines out, I then get less light, the rear looks fine with the white led, but no light comes out. If you need the reversing light, don't do this. I will install the original bulbs again

I have the bulbs but cannot get the rear reverse light out. It seems stuck on the right top corner... anyone had this issue at all? Feels like its going to snap if I keep pulling.

Craig Cummings They can be really quite stiff when the car is new, and that is really the only advice I can give. Patience, or take it to Ford 😂 I believe there is a locator pin at the back which is not lubricated from factory, making it stiff.

Hi I'm considering getting a Mk8 ST3 and live in a very rural location that requires very good lights so this was very helpful. Could you please provide some comments on the ST's new LED headlights are they comparable with other LED or HID's you have driven? Night driving is so important for me as yet i have been unable to get a demo over night. Thanks again for the video.

Tim Williams Hi Tim, the upgraded LED headlights are bloody amazing. I reckon they are better than my HID’s in my MK7 (fitted behind projector lenses). Out of interest how do you rate the ST for build quality, I'm a bit OCD on creaks and rattles so your thoughts on this (including the lovely sunroof) would be greatly appreciated. I have now test driven a new ST - simply incredible. However it was brand new so I'm a little concerned to take the plunge without getting some honest feedback from owners that have put some miles on their vehicles.

Tim Williams It’s okay... kind of luck of the draw! My car seems pretty solid, but I’ve been in other’s that do rattle. That said, I’ve also been in some very nice German machinery that also rattles. Hard to say for sure as each car is different from that perspective!

@@JBCTR It certainly is my pride and joy. I wanted something super, super reliable so it was a coin toss between a Honda or Toyota. The significantly cheaper running costs of the hybrid meant Toyota won. £0 RFL and 65mpg between fill-ups 🤑 - Obviously your Fiesta would be way more fun to drive.

@@JBCTR I can get it to stay in electric up to 40mph on flat roads or down hills, and with electric and petrol combined it is fairly fast to about 50mph. My driving style is conservative 99% of the time so I don't have issues with the e-CVT transmission feeling underpowered and overworked like some.
