SouL yeah that’s a good point. Leo is just better than all the Snakes after ally retired. MVD hasn’t been doing well (got 49th) and Salem is just being a troll with Hero (also got 49th). It isn’t the matchup that made ScAtt lose, it’s the fact that Leo is just such a good player.

Learning a matchup doesn't necessarily mean you'll always outplay that character. Joker is Leo's best character, and if Megaman is a good counter, it doesn't matter if Leo is better, he'll have some trouble against the counter pick, hence why it's a counter pick. He ended up winning 3-1, yes, by slim margin, but still, he pulled through because he adjusted

Scatt literally outplayed leo 70% of the time as mm until he got arsen. He hits him about 4 times and is dead for it. I think he should fought a little more mixed with camping, but dude if u just try to fight arsen u will die. Its not gay if what ur fighting is even more rIdiculous. Trust me ive tried to just fight arsen cuz I HATE camping. And I play mm. But I get blown up if I try to just foght him as I fight base joker

Jonny Watts Yes and I didn't call camping gay. Big gay meant PK Fire(joke). But the fastest way to get rid of Arsene is by dealing damage. So when Scatt outplayed leo 70% of the time he also could get rid of Arsene 70% faster

But yea no I agree that the way to deal with arsen is a mix of camping and damage, cuz like u said dealing damage gets rid of it faster. but that's why I think he should've rush camped, then baited leo and attack. Mistifyed. I dont agree, if they are going to nerf arsene they should just remove the extra meter joker gets after the first stock at respawn. His matchup against megaman shows that its possible to stall long enough to make arsene less effective. Nerfing him would honestly be unnecesary and hurt the character more than is justified.

@@1Yooter in general if he's getting Arsene too often it's his opponents fault. They're either getting baited into Rebel's Guard or they're winning but failing to take stocks. If you're actually winning then Joker shouldn't get Arsene more than once per stock. If he does you're giving him Rebel's Guard. The move has huge end-lag: bait and punish, bait and punish, BAIT AND PUNISH.

Benjamin Dunne characters that can bait and punish are characters who are faster than joker and their issue is their lack of kill power. Bait and punishing arsene is not the best way to handle him especially with a counter. Camping and kill joker before arsene is the only reliable way for him to lose
