Barry’s last hit would’ve been a HR in about 80% of other baseball ballparks. What a shame. After years of defying the dimensions of the Huge Park... it finally got him in the end. Even more ironic when you think that the dimensions of the park helped shape the dominant pitching staff that finally won us the World Series’s that eluded Barry during his career.

There isn't one person that could convince me the Orioles pitcher didn't give that moment to Jeter by lobbing a meatball down the middle so his last at bat can be a walk off. It ruins the authenticity of something like that being a big moment in the last at bat for a big player, but I can see it as respect the pitcher was showing him.
