Gia Pacella WRONG! Americans support capitalism and the Constitution. I won't name party's, but the one trying to take the 2nd amendment away, trying to abolish the electoral college, and wishing to change us from a republic, to a socialist style government, are not Americans.

@@layyouin6860 Trumps the only one trying to change us from a republic. Attacking political opponents and critics, appointing unqualified people to positions of power, spreading racism, and lying to the american people on a daily basis doesn't sound much like the leader of a democracy. Also, removing the electoral college would just make america more democratic, so I don't see what would be wrong with that. Anyways, go ahead and keep believing what trump says and not experts.

congratulations and welcome to the US, fellow American! i apologize on behalf of our corrupt and unrepresentative (allegedly stolen) government at this time, but rest assured that your fellow countrymen/women appreciate you being here, and wish that more people in our country had your mindset. as an “acquisition” type citizen who was born here to two US citizens, it breaks my heart that some people are willing to overlook “basic humanity” for “political correctness” in what they choose to support. Well knelling isn’t a form of disrespect, Colin Kaepernick, who was the first notable bi-racial athlete to knell during the national anthem asked several veterans what is the most respectful way to protest during the national anthem. They told him if he felt he needed to he should take a knee because kneeling is a sign of respect for veterans who gave there life’s for him to have the ability to protest. America is the land of the free, home of the brave. You are allowed to have your white-washed opinion and others are allowed to have there’s. God bless America and may your god bless you

@@z-dos8147 kneeling is a form of disrespect they have the freedom to do it but that doesn't make it not disrespectful a child has the freedom to be disrespectful to their parents but does that not make it disrespect? No. I don't agree with it I believe their are much more respectful ways too protest than to kneel during the national anthem. But I'm also going to be respectful in my approach because when you can't respect other people and just have a civil conversation about your views than why even have a democratic republic. Also I think a big problem people have with these protests is people have to deal with politics all day long at their jobs talking to coworkers, on social media , it's plastered all over movies and tv shows etc. People when they sit down to watch a game they don't want to see more politics they want to watch there favorite team win that game and just enjoy it.

@@Cody435 please I beg you to do more research before deciding to reply. Kneeling is a form of respect in the us military. Please look into it. As for more “respectful” ways to protest. In the past when African Americans protested against systematic oppression, they got sprayed with hoses, spit on,stomped on,shot, jailed, called terrorists and a much more ugly and nasty things. Why would hearing about a innocent black youth getting killed by a racist cop make you say “MaN I JUsT WaNnA WaTCH mY TEaM” You said because there “surround” by “politics” All day at work? Since when is a cop kneeling on a mans neck after he repeatedly said he couldn’t breath politics? You are clearly trying to deflect and deflate a problem that your uncomfortable admitting is a problem So what does that make you?

I will never forget it. Earlier on June 24th that year I was in a bad Semi Wreck and it messed my shoulder up bad. I was laying in a MRI machine listening to the local classic rock station on headphones. About 5 min into the test it came across the radio. I remember it plainly. Thinking how does airplane crash into that and being sad. Then 8 to 10 min later they say the second tower was hit. Then I knew without a doubt it was an attack. I also plainly remember April 19th 1995. That was when the federal building was bombed. My father in-law was chief of police for Sac & Fox Nation. They sent officers to help so they let us drive up to the barrier and I was just in awe. The power of that bomb. We had a family friend that worked there but had called in sick that day. I had just turned 19 the end of March and got married on my birthday. Both of those events will stick with me forever. The OKC bombing was the biggest terrorist attack in the country before 911.

If I know one thing, when a team or a teams city is in the news it brings hope to their fans, New York went through a major loss that year and so a lot of people thought it was good for the Yankees that year, although I think it also predicted the World Series eight years later.

+Jude Law it could be the fact America went through so much that year that they wanted to honor the Americans that died on 9/11. Look how far the nation has been through since then, with Americans still attacking their own race even, we realize Anerica made the biggest sacrifice of all by sending over 90 million troops overseas.

You've obviously gotten used to the idea of American freedoms, or you don't even live here..In either case, So much so, that you no longer respect them and think that you can take them for granted....How about this, dipshit? Be respectful and thankful for the opportunities that a land gives you. If you went to ANY arab or middle eastern country, almost any country really, or maybe a country where standing up for the honor of your homeland isn't looked down upon as it is in America, and said the shit your ass is on here, you would be at best beaten and jailed/kicked out...We stand and salute the flag and certain songs for the people that died and served for you to enjoy the right to freedom of speech, and the right to be a whiny ass little yuppie...Be thankful and respectful for that......Prick.

+Leo R. Right. However....you should love your country and be proud of it. If you can't do that then just immigrate but don't whine about patriotism. Michelle Obama was a lousy First Lady....thinking she could sound educated by saying the 'funny' things she said about her country, the States. And just look what she and Barry have made of America: the laughing stock of the world, a country that once led the free world, in moral shambles, heavily in debt, plagued by racial discord, stuck' with an expensive, unnecessary health care system supposedly for the poor, censorship, propaganda, a crime rate that's staggering. My word....that sounds like a third world country! A president who goes golfing while his armed forces are dying. A secretary of EA that lets an American ambassador die. America would've been better off if the Obamas and Clintons had become immigrants cause they don't love America. Europe would take them, Brussels has opened all the doors and they adore those people - cut from the same cloth - so I'm sure they would welcome them.
