Good score. I like this platform as it is still a modestly sized machine but has 4x4 capabilities. I feel the lack of 4x4 is a great limiter of earlier garden tractors for a lot of implement work. Looking forward to this series.

I loved my x585 when I had it. Was sad to see it go, but excited for new beginnings with my new toro 3000 series zmaster

I want to ask a question, i recently bought a tractor like yours and the seller said the hood grill had been melting. It didnt over heat, no radiator fluid had been used. Would you think the muffler needs to be replaced? He suggested i start with a water pump or head gasket? That sounds pretty extreme if it doesnt overheat.

Nice find. I’m sure you already know, but the x7 will need the hydraulic cylinder relocation kit for the 3pt. The x5 did not.

Just got a x585 with a loader but don't know how to raise and lower the 3 point hitch with the loader on and I have an engine light on,how do you check the codes

I have a x585 with the same coolant leak up front I am wondering what the problem is and how to fix it

If its in the front, more than likely its the water pump/gasket...

@@OldSchool-ot9rp thanks for your help! I was not sure if these engines are like water pumps in cars years ago that when the pump is going bad coolant comes out a hole on the top of the pump casing? yes I am 73

Yep, the same... The Kawasaki engines are really good, and the new water pump/gasket fix is pretty simple. I bought a shop manual for the 4xx models when I got my 445. Makes things much easier.

you either rich or JDs are dirt cheap where you're at. You keep getting more and more, haha. Here in NJ people think they got rusty (green plastic) gold. I make good money but cannot afford what they're asking here for a decent looking 318, forget X series.
