Once again , a great video! I just love callous removal! Can't tell you why, I just do! It is so cleansing to me. Only thing as good as this is callus and corn removal inter-digitally! Love it! Dr Jefferson, you leave feet so very clean, which is really what we want our feet to feel like, right? No matter who we are! And this may sound silly, but I feel connected to you and your paints and other docs and patients I watch, because every day I warm a little Shea Butter and rub it into my little diabetic feet (which have no corns, callous or issues yet, knock on wood 😁) and I feel I Do The Right Thing every day I do this. Thank you for turning me onto Shea Butter everyday! My daughter just got me a pair of wonderful New Balance tennis shoes that feel like heaven! I don't know if this is around the country but I also get a free pair of diabetic shoes from I think Medicare ( Federal Government) once a year with three pair of inserts for the year. They are wonderful as well! And so I am able to change to a different pair of shoes daily, or what I do is change them out several times a day. I am a retired nurse so that helps knowing foot care some, but it is nothing compared to what I have learned from you and the other podiatrists I follow on here. How can I EVER THANK YOU ALL ENOUGH! Care of diabetic feet are right up there with proper diet ( which I am still working on too!!)! Again thank you to you Doc and all your patients who share! Oh and you have the BEST MUSIC TOO! -Cyndie

I've watched many different online videos of podiatrists who help their clients. Thank you for that work!!! What I don't understand why the doctors don't seem to be teaching the patients how to care for their feet at home on their own. Even those with Diabetes can work on their feet unless they have an ulcer, etc. There was a time when I was so large I couldn't reach my feet but since my grand weight loss I soak my feet about once few weeks, use a sanding block to help lower calluses and apply a think base cream, Eucerin, to my feet and allow it to help with the extra dry skin I've lived with since puberty. I don't want to think it's because they don't care and would rather pay the doctor to do it. But even having a pedicure once a month will help tremendously. The last place I want to be is having a sharp blade touching my feet when i can prevent that all on my own.

What a beautiful job you did Dr. Thanks for your professionalism, expertise and compassion. After watching a lot of videos of these procedures, I almost cry seeing what these patients go through. I've become more caring of my skin. I have problems with my skin all over, but not severe and not all at one time, except feet and hands. I wipe each foot with a medicated skin pad, (kills bacteria). Then I massage a good grade of extra virgin olive oil into the skin of my feet/ankles. A heavy amount. That's the nightly routine for my feet. So far, olive oil is the only treatment that keeps my skin hydrated. I have very sensitive and dry skin. I don't use soaps for the most part, never on my face I also use extra virgin cold pressed coconut oil on my face. (This is what I'm trying until I have my dermatologist appointment).. I have poor toe nail health and three fingernails are dislocating from the bed. I'm eager to get a diagnosis. All of these products I mentioned are costly at first, but they last for a very long time... I hope I'm not doing more harm than good?!

Think 10”, vicious metal grater - nutmeg is hard! She tells me its for her FEET, because she has calluses. 😳. I suggest the Pedi Egg, and she doesnt think It will work well enough. I told her if she used this on her feet, she might bleed out before the ambulance got to her house. I said look closely at that thing, how spiky it was...I finally convinced her it wasn’t a great idea.
