Her Manager is the enabler; he has killed her career. It is 10 years now after Precious and she has not recovered; her reputation is still shit and the ppl she accusing/criticizing is still making billions, movies and providing for their families!! Every year her worth/value goes down. I am not understanding y she has not gone back before the camera and started making money, but seem to be on a quest of 'trying to prove that she was right and karma is a bitch". This is ridiculous! Does she have kids who depend on her? Since her attempted Netflix bycott has she sold out arenas and shows to prove her asking price and elevate her status so that when the next big company comes around, she can ask for the 20 million? No. She is a comedian and instead of finding a platform to promote her comedy, she is finding them to complain. Monetize your social media presence.Get invited to the White House, Lincoln Centre etc...do something to collect your bag with integrity. I am sick of seeing her self-destructive behaviour. In the 10 years, she has not done any thing to remedy the problem (difficult behaviour) and that is why she is still stuck. Lindsay Lohan was also placed on a blacklist in the Hollywood. What she did? Move to Australia and start a TV show. She is now a Judge on a show similar to America Got Talent. When life throw u lemons or curveballs, u make lemonades or know how to duck.

@@blackfirstdealwithitblack8098 One of the reasons that keep us from progressing as a people is that we do not listen to what a person is saying. We are the only people that are quick to turn on our own, because we do not like what they are saying. I think it is a good thing that Mo'Nique and her husband are working together. They want her to get rid of him as her manager because he is a strong black man that can not be intimidated. When a black man stands up to the statis quo, they consider something to be wrong with him. For example when my husband's job transferred him to another state, they tried to say that he had a personality problem. Because he was informing fellow black employees how they were being discriminated against. Because he was in management, he was pushing for qualified blacks to be promoted. He found out about how a lot of nepotism was going on. And these people weren't qualified for the position they were hired for. But all of those black employees he was trying to help were the same ones who went and told management what he was doing. The higher ups labeled him as a racist because he was pushing for more blacks to be promoted. So I know first hand what Mo'Nique is going through. As far as Oprah, Whoopi Goldberg, Tyler Perry and others, we need to ask what have they done in the black community. Have they opened up any businesses in our communities. Instead of these corner stores that are of little value, they can invest in mini markets that offer quality food products. When you help others, you help yourself. This is why so many entertainers and athletes go broke. Instead of opening businessess where they will receive a good return on their investments, they go out and buy these extravagant homes and cars. In the end they wind up broke. I don't want anyone to think that I am anti white. Because I am not. I just want to make my community better. Also I am thankful that Mo'Nique is sharing her experiences with us. I am sorry about the long comment.

This is by far the best part of the interview series and the best representation of their family dynamic. The problem is that Mo’nique let her husband into a position that no one wants him in. His has control of her business steering wheel and they hate it. She stuck by him when they said he is the problem and they hate it. They wanted her to put him on the back burner and emasculate him or get rid of him altogether. She didn’t and they attempted to dog them both out. But now the access of the internet is allowing them to show what is really what. I applaud them for not falling into the trap. What they did is no different than rappers fighting for their masters and winning. It just in the world of comedy/tv/film. I stand with them. Blessings upon blessings their way

@@chanta6116 the only problem is it doesn't add up. Sidney seems to be a great husband for her but a horrible manager for her career. His inability to enhance business relationship have been detrimental to her career point blank. It's not about kissing anyone butt, the reality is Hollywood or the entertainment industry has long been the way it is so how much do you expect to change. He didn't have the experience to do the job of managing her career and having dual relationships rarely works. I use the analogy of going to court with a personal friend to represent you that has little knowledge of law rather than an experienced attorney. This whole ordeal has little to do with integrity, she didn't get the money that he thought she should get now it's boycott this and it's a moral thing. If she would have secured that bag she or he wouldn't be saying anything. You never burn Bridges because one day you might have to cross that same bridge.

I always say, marry your best friend. Being great friends sets the level for a great marriage. People don’t marry their friends most often, they marry potential. They marry the idea of love but not the work that sets the pace and standard for a marriage, which is a strong friendship. That brings trust, communication, boundaries, understanding. If we care about our friends and how much work we put in to keep it, we should show that same energy with our partners. I’m very happy to witness another love story such as theirs at 27 years old in this day of age of selfishness. Hope is powerful. Bless up!

Monique is just beaming, sitting next to a man that was so successful in life that he once use to occupy a space in her and her ex husband's spare bedroom. He has so much experience in this industry. Just look at his body of work. All of his biggest roles have been when he was playing an extra on films where Monique was the star. Oh and let's not forget his sales experience. He took a talented comedian turned dramatic actress and Oscar winner and has managed to parlay those accomplishments into chitlin' circuit work - performing in bootleg plays and telling jokes in small comedy clubs. Not to mention the fact that through his tutelage Monique has managed to become a social pariah in the industry. Monique is just tooo happy to have a man.

You know, I've heard Mary J. Blige, Wendy Williams, Tamar Braxton, Julie Brown, etc. say the same glowing and marvelous things about their previous love business relationships, but they don't say that now. Now they are hurt and betrayed. I can tell Mo'Nique is *_deeply_* seriously in love. Please, don't let something go wrong, because she won't have anybody left and her business will be further fcked.

The reason I love Mo'Nique is when I saw the performance she did at a women's prison. I don't remember what year it was. I don't know if you can find the video on KZbin. It is something that every black woman should watch if they could. You could see that she was sincere and was speaking from her heart. It is a good thing that her husband is her manager. He may be soft spoken, but if you listen to him, you can learn a lot. They are both encouraging.

Jay Ron glad I’m not the only one whose notice that. If they really cared about the “community” they’d handle their business in private not airing it all over social media.
