You guys are the best type of people to watch this show because you genuinely love to watch Mob's growth as a character. Most reactors just want to watch Mob explode and for it to be straight action all of the time. They view this episode as "filler" or "slow" when it builds Mob's character. That's the point of Mob Psycho 100, it's Mob growing and learning, it's not about wanting him to suffer by hurting people. Sure, it's nice to see him use his powers, but I'd rather him be happy for who he is, as we all should be.

i was actually pleasantly surprised by "nice one, mob" it makes her intention much more clear than the way they chose to translate it in the sub, which was just "smooth". Mob's speech on the other hand, i still prefer "you have to pick up what you feel is important"

In my case it was definitely like that. After first watching: "meh, it's kinda okay, the first one still much better". After few episodes I started to enjoy it without any doubts. And after finishing this season and watching Mother's Basement video "What's in an OP?" I decided that this one is indeed better than the first one. 99.9 is a bit of a crawler opening. for me at least, when i first heard the opening, i thought it was okay but would have rather had 99. after 3 or 4 listenings, i was all "CRYING MY LIFE! CRYING MY PSYCHE! CRYING MY HEART IN SUCH UNCOMMON PLACES!"

I love how much this show resonates with you guys too. (or 4/5th of you guys ;) But I gotta tell ya, I too was a huge advocate of the first song over the second, mostly because the counting up was such a cool concept, but after watching this great season and getting more and more hyped each episode, the song became a representative of this entire, pretty much perfect, season. I legitimately thing the second song is simply a better song now, when compared to the first. (Although they are completely different and hard to compare)
