more specifically, these are cutscenes that shows up when you play on the arcade ladder, depending on which mech you pick, it'll play the corresponding cutscene for the opening. IIRC it also cycles through them while on standby and no one is playing on the machine.

@@HeirAndAnimal True but it's dated there's already a new gundam versus game with better animations not to mention the anime of each show represented hardly uses Cgi or at least cgi that doesn't mesh well with their hand drawn style because you might not know this but sunrise the makers of dragon ball made the gundam franchise which is why they don't skip out on animations, music, and sound design. each scene is basically a computer animated re-enactment of major scenes from various Gundam series/movies, with many of the series set in the same universe known as the Universal Century, while others take place in other alternate universes.

To explain about this more clearly. All of this cutscenes are from a game of the same title -- Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. MaxiBoost On -- Which was originally an Arcade fighting game that would get a console port as MaxiBoost On, all of this cutscenes are adaptations of different scenes and moments through the Gundam Franchise, from having the Mobile Suits and cast of the Universal Century timeline to including recent entries. All of this stories take action in different timelines, like the first scenes are from Universal Century, but then you see two Mechs that are from G-Gundam and then Gundam W which is another timeline.

So, I think you already know that this is an Arcade Game, and these are bassically the intros of each series, Which yes, different timelines most of these, but some do share timelines. Cool thing is, all the music is unique and all of them are from their respective series, which is cool as hell. 4:42 is my favourite, because that soundtrack is GODLIKE. It is even more serious when you know that those light wings that they have desintegrate matter at whatever it touches, so yeah, its dark if that holds a humans which is pretty easy considering how far they reach.

Nah, I dont think so, Arcade outside of japan is pretty dead, but in japan Arcade never died and they are still making new Arcade games over there even to this day, these series of games are one of many. And we´re talking a lot of things, Dragon Ball, I think Yugioh there are some still releasing, Arcade in japan is a thing that never died.@@HeirAndAnimal

pretty sure everybody already told you about how this is originally an arcade game, so i gonna make mine's brief. there's like, an updated ver. of this ones since Maxi boost got a ps4 port a while back with a buncha new (and probably exclusive) units, and those units also got a new PV for when you pick their unit to play the arcade mode.

Color Scheme of each Mobile Suits depends on each characters, The Protagonist Units always has the Blue, White, Red, and Yellow, While the Antagonist is Red, Black, Purple Allied or Friendly Units varies on Orange, Gold , Green and Pinkish Red
