***** hello I l I tried it and I can tell you my personal experience: I started with provigil 100mg and I took half 50mg tablet with a nice glass of 'water after about 10 minutes I started to feel the effects right away, you can put a huge concentration do whatever you want with time ..then stabilizes a bit 'listening to the music you feel a lot more' becomes an acute sore are the side effects like headache, headache and a trouble to fall asleep 'cause it keeps you always alert !! and attentive !!

I've been using it for a couple months. I had a difficult time keeping my thoughts together when meeting new people and when I'm taking Modafinil, I feel on, sharp and Enhanced is the best word. I almost died from liver failure a couple years ago, and I know I'm crazy for messing around with any pills, but after coming close to death, it's worth it to me. Quality of life over quantity.

Personally I found the base way to increase focus and improve job performance is just quit alcohol completely and limit caffeine to 1 -2 cups a day. And take walks during the working day to refresh. I think that was the hidden message in Limitless, the 'clear pill' actually means 'no drugs at all'.

That's a very interesting interpretation of the film - I'm trying to remember if they refer to it that way in the book or not (I shall look when I get home!). But yes, I'm inclined to agree with you. I'm going to be doing a video on natural nootropics soon (things like MCT oil, choline in food, cold showers etc.) as I've found that a much better method too. The effects are a little less immediate and pronounced, but they're more sustainable over the long term and with none of the nasty side effects! Thanks for commenting!

I've used ritalin before and find it does actually brighten colours, make my eyesight sharper and increase my reaction time as well as other things in that area but I find that I need a day off of the stuff after to let my brain re-charge and during this I'm usually a bit worse than I would be without taking it. And as someone with a mild autism that makes me function a bit better than most in logical problems etc I find that they make me go into the deep reccesses in my mind so that I avoid people at all costs especially stupid people.

+ReaperRises Sounds like you could have ADD. I have the same issue. When I take a product like "Ritalin" for example, I notice when it starts working as I can feel a tingling sensation in my brain and can actually concentrate better, Where I live Modafinil is over the counter, so I got to try it recently. For me, while it does lift the fog of walking sleepiness, it only helps a little bit with concentration. A 200mg pill also keeps me up very late at nigh the same day I take it, even though I feel so tired and sleepy, it just won't let you sleep.
@UltimateReaperStudio

GeekBoy03 Funny you should mention that. I'm actually in the process of seeing doctors for that right now. I had no idea my whole life, but now it makes so much since. Modafinil won't really help me, and the meds I need are even harder to get. Sadly.

+ReaperRises You may want to try "Adderall." While very expensive stuff last I checked, I was able to try it before, and I liked it very much. Ritalin on the other hand started making feel very anxious after taking it over time, thus negating the effects of the concentration I had. I finally had to go see a doc about getting it while in a pre-calculus class, and was falling behind. I took the first does about 45 minutes before class, Once it began, and he started writing calculations on the board, a whole new world emerged. My reaction was, "math can't be this easy!" To me, taking Modafinil is similar to taking a very large dose of caffeine. Taking Adderall was closer to that Limitless pill

To Adam Black - (as I cannot reply to the post) I think anyone who criticises a video so incredibly harshly without actually watching the video... Is just an idiot, you are as bad as those who see a article on Facebook but only read the title or look at the picture and then comment on it like they know everything and make a massive deal without really knowing, seeing or understanding any of it clearly at all. Please if you cannot watch a video don't comment on videos! Its idiotic and makes any points you try to make irrelevant cause you have already proven your inaccuracy and lack of common intelligence. And to Adam Sinicki thankyou for your side on modafinil, it was very interesting and helpful to see others views and some of the back story to this new drug. I would like to know more on its effects you find on exercising? as I work night shifts and take it now to keep me working at maximum capacity and then keep me going long enough after to do a gym session straight after (the only real time I get a chance). So anything you know how it could effect that would be very interesting to hear. Thankyou.
@AdamSinicki
@AdamSinicki 10 жыл бұрын
Hey man, thanks for watching and for backing me up on that one! For me personally the effects on exercising were mostly negative - I found myself a bit too jittery to want to train and as it was affecting my sleep patterns I made myself pretty tired with it too. In your case though you're going to be tired from working nights anyway. That's actually what it is designed for so I imagine that a slight 'wired' feeling might be preferable to full on nodding off. I know that some people use it for weightloss and it is an effective appetite suppressant (I can vouch for that) so those are factors to consider as well! I think with all these things the best solution is to try it for a bit, try it without for a bit, and then to review which gave you the better workouts. How have you found it so far? Thanks and good luck whatever you decide!

Someone whom isn't me has tried Armodafinil half a dozen times and he says this is quite accurate. He took armodafinil to help with his exams. In the first couple hours, no effects were felt. But after that he felt a LOT more focused and jittery. It's like an autistic child prodigy, how they are completely focused on what they're doing and completely ignores the outside world. He could focus purely on the exam question at hand and process/think about the math problem a lot faster. There could have been World War 3 happening around him and he would have still just focused on his exam and not noticed. Thinking speed and processing power was increased drastically. However, the negative effects were felt at night when he tried to go to sleep. He told me that it felt like something was wrong with his body, and it felt like his body was trying to tell his brain that something was wrong. Even though his body felt exhausted, his brain was too active and so he couldn't fall asleep. He only got about 2 hours of sleep on the nights he took armodafinil. A lot of what Adam Sinicki says is accurate. It's probably not a drug that you want to take daily, but it's definitely worth it for exams and some important projects.

I tried modafinil before and loved them. The burst in energy, slightly more vibrant colours and the focus was hugely embraced haha. However, at the same time I was using apps to monitor sleep quality (reliability is arguable) and found that, things like caffeine, late nights, stressful days and modafinil did negatively impact on my sleep quality and length of it. However, if taken early in the day, the effects would wear off and I would fall asleep easily. I have since bought some more and found that the impact is not the same. The experience is some what 'diluted'. This could be due to the supplier, as I do not have a prescription, or it could be tolerance or even that my expectations are too high. Has anyone had similar experiences?

I'm 30 I took 100 mg modafinil for 2 days, first day I was able to concentrate on the work without feeling sleepy for 17 to 18 hours but blurred vision and feeling heavy head. second day I took and went for gym I felt completely chest pain and too tired, the whole day body pain, back pain and dizziness but not feeling of taking rest or lying on the bed, I tested my blood pressure, it was damn high 135/95, So next day I took only 50 mg at 5 am and slept till 7:30 am then again I slept in the noon for 2 hours but my BP didn't go low. I gave one day gap for modafinil, then next day, my BP still high (stage 1). In the noon again I took 100 mg modafinil I felt energetic, did some work in my laptop after 3 hours I went for a walk, then I checked my BP it was 149/99 It's too high, later then I had a cup of coffee and now BP is 122/101 dangerous level. First number is systalic 122 no problems at all till 140 But second one diastolic 101 is to be below 80 but went so high, my BP machine started making emergency signal ( I went through some web script about it, says if it was little more high there are double the chance of death) My heart rate was consistently above 90 to 120 for all these 3 days After an hour later I took an amlodipine atenlol (anti blood pressure pill) 2.5 mg, now my heart rate is 72 but blood pressure hasn't yet decelerated but not so high.. I'll try modafinil with amlodipine atenlol, then will see if it works well or not

It is highly nonaddictive. To assess most of its effects you need to compare tow groups, one uses mod anothe rone doesn't etc. Placebo controlled randomised blind. You cannot say actually ONE thing on how it works in general sense. What it did to you or seems to do is fine of course.

Now the Music/colors/ want for stimulation (coffee/sex/masturbaiting) are very real side effects?/benefit? It works(ed), however last time I took 100mg. meh it didn't really give me hyper focus (I used to use the 200mg dosage) but it did give me sustained awakeness. That might seem good in theory but it felt quite unnatural. It was if I was never truly awake or asleep. Kind of like the Narrator in the beginning of Fight Club.

I disagree on the addiction part. I used it and I didn't get addicted. Sometimes there would be days where I didn't feel like using it. I think its more psychological. Because nothing is truly addictive. Its all in your mind.

Sounds like all adhd medication. like that is exactly what it does. You kind of feel like a zombie though and sometimes it makes you somewhat antisocial, but the grades are worth it. Your focused is so enhanced with the medication that you can hear the pitch frequency of the electricity, and see the constant flickering of a florescent light that is hard to notice. Things seem a lot slower, brighter, and more logical. The side effect that fucks most of us adhd is the loss of apetite

I used this for my adhd. My dr & I talked about this and he prescribed it for me. It worked really well until I drank some McDonald’s call jet fuel” coffee then I had heart palpitations. And since I like coffee which works just as well I decided to stop taking this. But if I didn’t care about caffeine or didn’t want it or like it I would’ve kept with this particular prescription that you were speaking of because it does work well without the stimulant like Adderall and the other crazy crap that’s out there.

hey bud, nice video. Everyone wants to have something like limitless pill, isn't? but i'm little afraid about the side effects. What about modalert? is that a good alternative for moadafinil? I don't seem to find modafinil in my locality. Share your thoughts! I need it to choose one of many options and to be focussed ;)
@AdamSinicki
@AdamSinicki 10 жыл бұрын
Hey man thanks a lot! Well modafinil and modalert are really the same thing - modalert is just the brand name and modafinil is just the active ingredient :-) Personally I wouldn't recommend it due to the side effects/lack of long term studies/potential for psychological addiction... I think lifestyle and diet changes are better even if they're less immediate! Good luck whatever you decide :-)

I find it interesting how he said a lot of the things stuck with him. I was once prescribed Adderall then later Vyvanse. I never had a serious form of adhd I don't know what I had but I know of couldn't sit still nor focus for longer than 20 minutes. I now don't need any of those bc i can sit still and focus up to several hours now. (much like the film limitless, although I did this before the movie) I slowing lowered the dosages and got use to working like that without it. I wonder if I can do it with this

Your suppose to cycle it. And take it in the morning. No wonder you got all those nasty effects.
@DavidL-wd5pu
@DavidL-wd5pu 8 жыл бұрын
If one gets bad effects from any drug then often times one can tolerate it better by cycling it, by taking it intermittently. Meaning you go on it for a while then go off of it for a while to reset your body and prevent the nasty effects that come with long term use. Some people don't need to do this, it depends on the person and the drug in question. Body builders that take steroids have to do this otherwise they get nasty side effects, that is why they cycle steroids.

My experience on Modafinil: I live in Central America. In Central America we get sent modafinil on a product called Carim from Roemmers. You can buy at any drugstore a box of 20 pills of 200mg for about $50 american dollars without prescription. I am on day 3 on Modafinil and I am definitely stopping its use ASAP. DAY ONE: I cut the pill in half to start with 100mg. Took it at 7:00 am. I felt absolutely nothing different except that about 30 minutes after taking the pill I got diarrhea. My day was kinda normal except for a little, little, little dizzy from time to time, nothing special. Went to sleep as always at 10 pm and had a good night sleep as all my life I have. DAY 2: I took 200 mg at 7:00 am, got a little dizzy like 30 minutes later and again diarrhea. Through out the rest of the day I was a little less lazy than usual and noticed my reading was a lot faster. Not the big deal though but I was reading my books faster than ever. Kept on feeling a little dizzy through out the day and then had a good night sleep as always. THIRD AND LAST DAY: Took the pill 7:00 am. Today was horrible, feeling very dizzy all day, headache, nausea, diarrhea, can´t stand the thought of food, my arms and legs feel tingling alot, had to go home from work, laid down and the room spins fast and faster each time. Feel like I am talking slow, can´t hear well, literally I feel this thing could kill me. It´s now 1:25 am and all the sensations are starting to pass, I am feeling better however, still a little dizzy and can´t sleep at all. Decided to write all this right now, I am having trouble writing, it´s very slow. I regularly take different online IQ tests online just for fun and have never tested under 130 IQ, depending on the website, I have got the lowest score 132 and the highest one time was 160 which was awkwardly high but that was what the online page said. But right now, I feel so slow and dumb I just got online to different online IQ tests, 120 in one page, 124 in another, 128 in another! Lowest ever in all times! Guess for me this pill is a huge NO NO for me. Everybody is different and Modafinil might be a miracle pill for others, but PLEASE PLEASE, go to your doctor first, I was very worried with all I was feeling I am never taking it again.

+A PMc Those are all possible side effects of modafinil. You obviously have a sensitive stomach, causing diarrhea. Also, headaches are easily eliminated using coffee and perhaps eating a simple egg. As for the dizziness, I personally don't know what causes it, though many people have reported feeling that way. You should definitely lay off modafinil, it's not for you, at least until you learn how to deal with all the side effects. Perhaps try noopept(boosts memory) or something different, though, maybe nothing at all would be the best. Personally I haven't experienced any negative side effects of the drug except for maybe a really weak headache that I took care of with coffee and jittery hands, similar to when you drink too much coffee. But I think it's REALLY important that you don't use this for pleasure, but only as a tool when you need to do 15 hours of work in 8 hours.

I don't think it's really chemically addictive. The reason that it may seem psychologically addictive is because it often causes sleep deprivation. Sleep deprivation can take away from your mental focus when off modafinil causing you to believe that you need it or should use it.
@AdamSinicki
@AdamSinicki 10 жыл бұрын
That probably does play a role, but it's also possible that there's some kind of tolerance going on... the mechanisms of action are very similar to caffeine which is addictive in that way, so I think it may be addictive to that extent. For me it was certainly psychologically addictive though, I had to really convince myself not to use it as a crutch!
@varun009

I suppose. Unfortunately, psychological addiction is ultimately a subjective experience and is thus ignored.

***** Try L-Theanine, an Amino Acid, to naturally reduce the effects of stress. Modafinil sharpens focus. If you have a natural predisposition to stress and anxiety, Modafinil will exacerbate it. On the other hand, Modafinil made meditation easier for me. I can focus and control my thoughts away from negative areas and towards positive & productive areas.

''Modafinil for focus'' concept is a marketing bullshit from shitty producers on internet and their guys on youtube.. its a different kind of stimulant , i used modiwake pharma grade shit which is far more safe and true dosage than thos shiity shit on internet. and its just a narcoplepsy drug not giving you any focus better than caffein. but ritalin is far more diferent shit its what these guys looking for but its illegal. if you dont have any narcoplepsy,adhd, sleep apnea..etc jus stay away from it its not gonna give you anythink beyond axiety. there is no limitless drug in world its not exist.
