Hi, thanks for your videos, really this are useful to us. in this video you said this "You still have a choice", i am confusing like this sentences 1. you still have a choice VS still you have a choices 2.i am free now VS now i am free 3.you did it always VS you always did it. Are this sounds same or different in emphasizing situations or some else situation?
@Oxfordonlineenglish1
@Oxfordonlineenglish1 6 жыл бұрын
Hi there, thanks for watching and glad the videos are useful! To answer your questions: 1) 'You still have a choice' means there is one choice. 'You still have choices' means there are multiple choices'. 'You still have a choices' is incorrect. 2) 'I am free now,' and 'Now I am free' are the same, though the emphasis can be different depending on if you emphasize 'now' at the beginning vs. 'I'. 3) 'You always did it' is correct here. 'You did it always' is not common.

thanks for the lesson. I have a question -If I have to use must in future, how could I? like I'll definitely come? How should I emphasis this sentence in a must sense.
@Oxfordonlineenglish1
@Oxfordonlineenglish1 7 жыл бұрын
Hi Anil. 'Must' doesn't have a future form itself. You can put it in the future with time markers. For example, 'She must come to the party tomorrow'.

Hey! You are the best. I have question please. As it explained in this lesson, that the models"Must", "Have to" and " Should". Are used in advice. May question is, how can I make their past form. -You must try the fish. It's delicious! -You have to try the fish. It's delicious! -You should try the fish. It's delicious!

Great question, Muhammad! When used to talk about advice in the past, use 'should have'. For example: 'You should have tried the fish. It was delicious!' Hope this helps you!
