I had a similar situation doing Legacy a week ago. I was running elves and managed to find myself against UBDS, 2 storm decks, and then a robots deck. Had to fight my way out of the storm matches, and the deathshadow battle was good, but robots got me fast and hard. 3-1 wasn't bad for my first time out with the deck in paper. #YardofJaffa

Love this version much more that B/W eldrazi and taxes because of how much slower it is compared to G/W or mono white in the current meta we need more reactive cards and you just don't get that with strangler and your all seeing thought-not, being able to have evasive creatures that you can flicker multiple ways and get extra wowlue out of, if your opponent is trying the kill puts you so far ahead that you basically can win on the spot.

Yes actually! I've played them in the GW Company deck. I think they are, on the whole, much better in that shell alongside Fetchlands and Tracker, but they have less synergy here where we need to be able to put pressure on our opponent or create high impact off of Vial or Coco.

Knight over Finks seems fine vs Pyromancer as you get extra hate vs Blood Moon and Ensnaring Bridge, as well as the occasional EE and whatnot. Still, Finks seems fine and is likely better against Jund compared to Knight (although you’re probably just boarding in all your Mirran Crusaders really.)

Well, it’d help a little against Hollow One (Batterskull does match up fairly well against their bullshit if you can get the damn thing out fast enough and they don’t drop three on turn 2 on the play) but there are so many bullshit degenerate decks that Stoneforge wouldn’t do shit against that it might be worth unbanning. I mean, the two best targets for its ability are permabanned in Modern anyway, so why not at this point?

Stoneforge Mystic might damage whites diversity of decks and archetypes in Modern. That's one reason for keeping banned. Aside from that, it's just not good enough to compete with the degenerate nonsense in the format. IMO, the format is pushed too far towards linear decks being hyper aggressive/fast. Twin would be a better unban as it would force decks like that to interact.
