(watching the outtakes)(hmm... did somebody recently watch Bohemian Rhapsody?) On the other hand, here am I, styling vintage pieces to look modern. Basically I can never put an outfit together without breaking it up in some way (can you say that in English? In German a Stilbruch, a "style break" means you are breaking the rules of a certain aesthetic, can be seen as both positive and negative). If I follow a certain style "formula" from head to toe, be it a vintage aesthetic or other, I'll just feel dressed up instead of dressed as myself, and I will be overcome by a *mighty need* to make it more individual. I still wish it were easier to find good vintage clothes here, it seems the US has a lot more to offer in their thriftstores. Love watching you, Rachel, always so inspiring even for people like me who don't necessairily aspire to commit to the vintage lifestyle. I rarely miss a video!
