This is truly such a solid rig, a real statement, a real Aussie road horse to go across and aesthetically complete. Probably one of the last great passenger horses. Be cool to keep this shell for hydrogen or electric vehicles in future.

6.2’s never came in the c6 z06, they only came in the grand sports and base models 08-13. C6 z06 had the LS7 7.0.

miss my e sereies I had the same model and colour great car traded it for the vf gts this brings back some good memories... Not a big fan of the OTR with the ve as rain would drive in through the bonnet flutes and leak down between bonnet and heat shield then suck straight into otr intake

The problem with Ls engines is you have to rev them out. They have no torque down low and if your in the wrong gear its like driving a turbo with turbo lag. A v8 should not be like this. This is why so many people supercharge them.

Ls3 was never in the z06 corvette mate. The grand sport yes, but not the Z06 that was the ls7.

These are not really that impressive i have a stock VY 5.7 litre and this thing 0-100 is only a one second difference , however you work this car they are a beast STOCK and factory most of these V8s are really over rated you are buying mainly an overpriced show pony the last V8 the VF W427 are about as best you will get stock
