John, I think that you have slightly missed the point with these steadies. They are supplied with a bar about 12mm diameter and 300mm long. This bar goes through the slot and holes in the steady and allows you to apply some leverage to the drop down leg. This leverage is sufficient to lift the motorhome body a little which ensure that the steady is positively engaged. To lower the van and lift the steady you simply stand on the release lever and the leg will disengage. Hope this is of help

Hi, we have a 2007 Rapido 944F. Do you have any tips for cleaning under the shower tray please? We've found that the water isn't draining away and when we had a look there is hair and all sorts. We tried to clean it out but it's still not draining properly. Just wondering if there are any tips on how to do it more efficiently. Thanks

Caravan corner steadies should not be used for lifting the van. Like those on motorhomes, they should only be used for stabilisation. Ramps for side to side levelling and jockey wheel for longitudinal alignment. Good fix though!

…Centimetres….centimetres…where do you get that from….centimetres are for measuring curtains….Engineers use millimetres and metres…or even, as in the case of the USA (always bloody awkward we know), feet and inches, and parts thereof… BUT NOT BLOOMING CENTIMETRES….!!!
