Ok....WOW! Simply put.... Awesome! Was nice to see that you found a way to install the front lights, looks great.😀 Thank you

Yes that was a challenge since the areas around the headlights is pretty tight. Those SMDs are definitely helpful for these situations. Thanks again for your compliments.

Interstellar Modeler You are so welcome ☺️ I could tell that it was a tough decision for you and in the end you figured it out, which is awesome 🙂 Perhaps one day you could do a tour of your collection.

Nice job. For those who don't want to scratch build detail for the interior I would suggest the after market resin and photo-etch detail set from Green Strawberry in the Czech Republic. For U.S. customers, Jerry at HDA Modelworx is a stockist or, if you are in the U.K. or Europe, order direct from Green Strawberry. Service is fast and p+p is free and mine arrived in the U.K. after only a few days. I bought this set and it includes the back wall detail, an insert for the from of the cockpit multi-part break discs and accurate dash instrumentation and even includes tiny photo-etched switch guards and hinges for the canopy.

Hi,I enjoyed your build very much,as for doing the lighting,you can get a magnet wire that you can solder without taking away it's coating.I look forward to watching more of your builds.Richard from England.

Loving your channel. I have a suggestion for the battery cover. Make it look like a manhole cover since its a city street.

Nice build! The kit should have included a Ben Affleck Batman figure in either sitting in or posing beside. It would matched the box top. Makes a nicer diorama.

Yes I agree on the cost of larger one , and the smaller version is great and what possibilities for a cool diorama

..this is a very cool model. Your details are amazingly realistic. I might wanna try those if I can get hold of this model. I have a suggestion for your base, why not make the holes for the power as a manhole? I'm sure you can scratch built that as well. That way, the hole for power line is incognito. Just an idea :)

Hi,many thanks for your reply.Being in Britain I don't know,where in the states you can get your bits and bobs,from for your kits etc,but if you look up Boyde on Trekworks,Walle on Starfleet Model Academy,or the master himself Simon Mercs,also Known as Puppa Smurf,they are all fantastic for everything you will ever need to know.Kind Regards Richard.

Thanks...appreciate the compliment. Most likely the next will be a Hasbro Conversion of an X-Wing. Won't be going for complete studio accuracy but just to make it look (much) better.

Where did you get the reference pictures of the Batmobile?I googled for them and didn't find anything close to the pictures that you showed in the videos.

It's been a while but I just searched "full size dawn of justice batmobile". There wasn't just one site if I remember, I just chose what I thought would be helpful among the ones I found. I just did the same search and this site came up which has some: www.gizmodo.com.au/2015/06/the-badass-batman-v-superman-batmobile-has-officially-been-revealed/ I hope that helps.

Your Batmobile looks pretty good. Is that a knight rider dash board?
@InterstellarModeler8 жыл бұрын
Thanks......it's just the dashboard that came with the car. I randomly chose the colors used here.

question, what paint for exterior batmobile on bodywork ?

I used Rubber Black from Tamyia. Not quite as jet black as other black paints.

Great video and instructions , earlier I saw you build both flying subs that was great, could you do a video of the same of the spinthrift from land of the Giants ( another classic) set in a diorama that would be neat, hope to maybe see it keep up the great work
@InterstellarModeler8 жыл бұрын
Hi and thanks for watching. Very interesting that you mention this because shortly after finishing the mini flying sub, I purchased the mini Spindrift with your idea in mind, creating a diorama with it. So yes I actually do plan on doing that. I have the larger Spindrift in my collection already built (no lights). I'd love to do another one but unfortunately the larger scale ship is no longer available unless one wishes to pay a lot of money for it. Hopefully they'll re-release it someday. Thanks again for your nice comments.

@InterstellarModeler8 жыл бұрын
As much as I love the 60's Batmobile, I already have a nice replica of it so I won't be building that one but yes I will be getting back to Star Wars. No Trek on the horizon though. Am waiting for the Moebius releases. Thanks so much for watching
