It should go without saying that she's not as good as Xilonen in most cases. The point was more for my personal account, and if I regret spending the resources maxing her (Resin for lv.90, the primos I would've spent if I hadn't gotten her C6 earlier while summoning on the previous banner, etc...). Outside of multi-team content, I don't see myself using Chevreuse to buff my Pyro/Electro DPS's when I can use Xilonen. The C6 buff is nice, but still a bit slow to get all 3 stacks for 1st rotation. Perhaps when overloaded gets buffed, more overloaded focused teams (which I didn't showcase here) would be more interesting, but we'll see. She is a good character with a lot of utility, her RES shred alone can be better than Anemo VV in some cases since it's easier and not reliant on swirling (think enemies with natural auras). She's absolutely worth some amount of investment for most people, but C0/Lv.70 gets you most of the way there (with godly HP% subs or HP weapon anyway).

Fun fact! Using her skill, then unequipping and reequipping the weapon after each heal resets the cooldown. You can get Chevreuse's burst back in about 12 seconds out of combat :D

If we only look at building 1 best team, yeah she probably doesn't slot in, but there is spiral abyss where you need 2 good teams, so team build flexibility is a bonus. But let's not forget imaginarium theater where horizontal account building is needed. Having someone that can be a buffer and heal a bit can be a big help when the characters you can pick from are randomized and you can only use the best characters twice.

Theater she's very limited, though, because of her team limitations, though she at least offers a little bit of healing, which is rather lacking from the pyro lineup. And for the Abyss, we have a lot of buffers these days and also some very strong off-field DPS options. No need to buff the carry when you can just deal that damage with an off-fielder instead. Of course, that does depend on the state of your account, and then what characters you like to play factors in. I'm not by any means saying she's bad. I think she's quite useful even at C0. But she is a niche buffer/debuffer, which does limit her teams.

i cannot stress on just how good the dialogue of the sages is on her! i have her on that at c0 lvl90, and her hp was so high i could switch my hp sands for an er one and still have 41k hp on her plus a 4pc set isnt even necessary on her cause her kit buffs your characters enough. i use her in almost every abyss cause overload arlecchino (c1r1, same as you) is my favourite team for arlecchino at the moment. xilonen and kazuha are great and universal buffers yes but the main appeal for chevreuse for me personally is having a good character based around a previously very ignored and frankly annoying reaction. it's actually pretty refreshing cause most niche 4* actually have their kit locked behind their c6 but chevreuse only gives a higher buff at c6 compared to rest so yes i see why it /feels/ underwhelming compared to her c0/c5 usage. And also it's not a fair comparison between a limited c2r1 5* to a c6 4* with a completely f2p build, her cons may not be the easiest to get but it's still a LOT more achievable than c2r1 xilonen regardless, will be looking forward to how the elemental reactions buff affect her next patch!

Oh, Fischl snap shots buffs, so you want to use chevy skill before placing oz. In that team you do arle skill and a charged shot with fischl then Chevy burst + hold skill swap to bennett and skill burst then use fischl skill or burst into arle onfield. After the 1st rotation you don't need to do the fischl charge shot anymore.

Using Fischl's elemental skill to move Oz resets his buff status. So you can summon Oz instead of doing a charged shot, and then move him after the Chevy stuff so he gets the full buff treatment for the rest of his duration.

Love the vids, Moga. But I have one suggestion, if you see this. PLEASE try using her as a sub DPS by utilizing her C4! Her burst and three skills can do really good damage. It’s definitely worth losing the 10-15% or so attack buff you lose by not building her on HP. Plus, you get to see big numbers. With Bennett, my C6 Chevreuse can do around 250k-300k damage per rotation in her few seconds on field. It’s a super fun thing you can do with C4+ Chevy and the numbers are impressive. Maybe not the BEST thing ever for everyone, since you need a decently high investment Chevreuse for it, but it’s worth noting at least. My personal combo is Q E N2 E N2 E since you need to proc overloaded again before you use her other Es, I don’t actually know if this is optimal since I haven’t looked into it but it’s just what I do and it works.

6:16 Arlecchino when she can't be healed by allies is still attempting to be healed, the value just gets turned into 0 during combat, the same way you can't be healed at full health but Chevreuse still gives the buff to full health party members. It also still buffs you if it removes Bond of Life from any source instead of healing.

For Raiden and Arlechino teams , I should say she is better than kazuha and xilonen if they are C0 and have f2p weapon. It is not fair to compare C2R1 5 stars. I use C6 chevros since her release and she is so comfortable to play because you don’t have to worry about reactions most of the time 😊

I feel that current characters have fallen into what i call the "Razor Effect." If you get them early and play them a lot, and even better, get high constellations, they bring a lot of value. However, the longer you go without them and their c6, the higher a chance a better 5☆ character will come along that do their job but way better and easier to play.

C6 is actually insane and is one of the best units in the game. Being able to give 40% attack buff to everyone, providing 40% res shred and 60% elemental damage buff to everyone, effectively replaces bennett, kazuha and xilonen all in one. That's actually mental. Also, you don't have to heal arle, chevereuse just needs to *try* to heal and the buffs will still apply. Edit: Overload getting a buff has also made a nice noticeable difference.

there’s a recent event weapon that’s great on her! ✨magical girl polearm✨ is what I call it but I think it’s something great sages. has a good amount of hp, and the passive gives her energy whenever she heals (which is basically always) honestly it’s like the exact same as the fontaine craftable, but easier to r5 and a little better, since it gives energy when the user heals but the fontaine one gives energy when the user GETS healed. better to give fontaine to someone who can’t heal, or easily receives their own heal easily (i have it on yaoyao and magic staff on chevy)

I have actually considered going Cinder City on Chevreuse. You're only really getting the 12% damage, but it's a ton in a team with no Natlan characters. As well, I'm definitely not using her for just her healing when bennet is also already there.

The problem with her is that the characters that she supports them; have other teams than her; who preform as good if not better than her; at her C6; which’s expensive a little, but at the same time it’s free Kazuha, and Xilonen; for either Neuvillette, or Mualan; if you using Arlecchino; with Kazuha, and Xilonen before; which’s very Crazy; considering that she will be buffed by Mavuika mostly, and maybe some 5* electro off- fielder character… Like Iansan? It would be so so stupid; to use: 1) Neuvillette, Furina, Kazuha, and Xilonen. 2) Arlecchino, C6 chevy, Mavuika, C6 Fischl, or perhaps 5* electro off-fielder in future. So ridiculous.

She goes hand in hand with Raiden and can find decent use with Clorinde and sometimes Keqing, but she doesn’t have widespread usability. Good unit, not universal, but the best at what she does (at C6)

thing is she buffs characters its not a debuff so it does not depend on enemy. Also as she is a healer, you can play arlechino with fischl and beidou, its not about arlechino dmb but about all team getting buffed and thats where the dmg is absurd. Last but not least, if you search for a 38-40k HP with 70% crit 140-150% crit dmg her rotation dmg is super nice EDIT: just give her more love and time so you understand better her capabilities, I'm a big whale (have most 5* at c4~ish) and find chevreuse one of my most useful characters.

cheveruse team are more consistent and does more dmg in longer battles when you need to do multiple rotation yes xilonen team do more dmg in single rotation but it takes more time to sit up and doesn't last as much. I tried both team with the event boss and cheveruse team perform around 5%better

C2 Xilonen provides for Arle: 45% Atk, 40% Dmg bonus and 36% res shred C6 Chevy provides for Arle : 40% Atk, up to 60% Dmg bonus and 40% res shred For a C2 5 star u need on average like 320 pulls and for a c6 4 star between 210 and 250. If we ever get a good electro char for the Chevy team that can use the natlan support set Chevy > Xilonen for sure. And already using Kazuha and Xilonen in one team is for most accounts not a viable option.

I think it's fair game to compare a C6 4* to a C0/C1 5*. we all know i'ts much, MUCH harder to get a C6 rate up four star than it is to get a single or two copies of the banner character. luck obviously plays a big part in this, but if we talk numbers, to get a C1 5*, you'd AT MOST spend 360 pulls, but an average of 225 is more than normal (300 on average for C2), while a C6 four star can take infinite pulls (if you're really REALLY unlucky), but mathematically should take ~2100 pulls, since all three rate up 4* characters have an equal amount of being pulled, assuming you pull one copy of them every 30 pulls. the number seems a little exaggerated, but there are people out there who have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars pulling for specific 4* constellations and still left empty handed. they really should add a 4* pity system lol.

After C4, you can use Chevy's skill 3 times by using skill after using her burst. This helps keep the C6 buffs stay longer. The recommended rotation for her is to Q (burst) and then E hold E hold E hold (skill 3 times) then swap. Because Chevy is so easy to build, you can keep her at lv 80, use HP% scaling weapon, and get her Tenacity of the Millelith artifact set. This will give you another 20% ATK buff and ensure that she reaches 40K HP.
