You are definitely a modern day MacGyver. Interesting rock pile too. Too bad about the cost of the repair. It still looks like a nice time with great scenery. 👍59

@@CraigKoppel it's a really interesting area! Trey is pretty handy 😁. The repair was a small price to pay for peace of mind the rest of the trip. Thank you for your support with our videos, I really appreciate it!

Oh wow the river was dry. We crossed in a few feet of water in 2016. I've done this route twice from the other direction starting at the River.

@@mobiltec I was really surprised it was dry. I tried to research the reason and didn't find anything. I thought it always had some water. It's such a great trail! Thanks for watching!

$95 to LOOK at it? For $95 you can buy a welder at Harbor Freight, fix it yourself, and have an almost new welder when you're finished.
@campoutwestusАй бұрын
Ya, definitely not a great deal, I have a feeling that they would have just wanted to order a new pipe and install it several days later anyway. We were in a hurry to get back on the trail, so it was worth spending a few extra bucks to get on the road again. We usually do all of our own repairs at home.
