This entire album shocked the metal world with its ferocity when it came out. This album put Slayer on the map in a big way. Since you are a fan of rap, this album was produced by the legendary rap producer Rick Rubin. Many metal heads of that generation (myself included) consider the next album after this, "South of Heaven", to be their greatest work and one of the greatest of all time. Back to Reign in Blood, if you listen to the opening track "Angel of Death", imagine the look on our faces when we as teenagers heard this for the first time, lol. Back in those days, it was common to listen to entire albums since digital media wasn't as common. Please do some reactions off of South of Heaven; every song is first rate metal and legendary Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo puts on a clinic throughout.

There's a very warm place in my heart knowing people will hear Slayer songs for the first time forever. 🤘 Do "Meat Magnet" by Escuela Grind!

Rain in blood from a lacerated sky has to be one of my favourite lyrics by SLAYER 🤘

SLAYER FOR EVER. I grew up with this when I was taking lawn mowers apart. Lol. 41 years later? Still cranking it.

Yes Yes Yes...Philip Himself, from Pantera WOULD SOMETIMES PLAY THIS LIVE.....❤ SLAYER IS SO DEAR TO ME FOR REALS

I listen to this song while driving to work at 5:50 in the morning. The drums on the end of the song on the subwoofer makes me tachicardic every time. But it is worth it. I am 51 years old.

I like to listen to Postmortem first because it rocks and it follows up with Raining Blood for the dramatic finish ! SLAYER RULES !!

Raining Blood has one of the hardest breaks in all of metal history. Love your reaction. Next up check out Sepultura- Dead Embryonic Cells

I remember once at work there was a screening and a mass of people amassed near my desk. They were so loud, couldn't focus on work. Then I decided to play this song full volume in my ear buds. Saved my work day

Too awesome! I started head bobbing at exactly the same time as this guy. I love these reaction videos : ) Slayer is eternal

I think I've just had a revelation! The reason I like to watch your reaction videos is because, at 47 years old, you remind me of me as a teenager. Your first words at the end of the song were "What the hell was that?" and that is probably exactly what I said back in 1990 (ish). Watching your excitement reminds me of the excitement I first felt when hearing these songs. Please mate, keep going for an old thrash fan like me!

First I've seen of you, my dude, and I love your genuine reaction! Very honest and real, not lots of pretend like many other channels. Dying to see you do more! 😎

I saw them play this at an outdoor venue while it was storming (after 30 min delay cause of lightning). One my favorite concert experiences. \,,/

Love it! 40 seconds in, our boy says, "I hope it's as heavy as the other guys." Kerry King says, "Hold my beer!!!". Oh, this is going to be good.

Absolutely LIT!!!!! Slayer is the OG!! I still wearvmy Slayer shirts at almost 53 and EVERY time some sees it, they will give the proper "SLAYER!!!" response. My wife just laughs when complete strangers react the same way every time. Next songs should be in no particular order, Angel of Death, South of Heaven, Dead Skin Mask, Black Magic, they just have such a great catalog of great thrash metal.

That's what was so fun in the 80s, being a teenager blasting this out of our rooms and our cars! Even in the hallways in high school! Got the same reaction as yours but with maybe more contempt.

4:13 "This is so heavy, it's perfect." 😁 Please check: "Eaten" by Bloodbath "Arise" by Sepultura "Bloodchurn" by Suffocation and something different, some symphonic "Ghost of Perdition" live by Opeth that's a delight. 👍🏼

For contrast, when this was released in the UK the number one single was Madonna's True Blue and NWA hadn't formed yet - imagine how wild hearing this back then was!
