Have to say people don’t understand how hard it is Not only physically but mentally also to get up every morning and to do all this prep and cooking for 14 people. Whilst also looking after the kids and doing other things like going to the store. It can be very draining and tiring. I appreciate and understand how badly you wanted children by the way that you treat them now. Picky or not you cater for everyone. If you haven’t heard it today you are appreciated, no one is perfect and on top of everything you’re also an influencer which comes with it’s own issues. You’re doing the best you can and that’s good enough. God bless you and the fam 🦋💙

My Grandma had 12 of us kids spend the week at her house. She put various cereal boxes on the table for us to choose from each morning. We were also allowed to make toast. For lunch and dinners some of us helped set the table and we took turns helping Grandma make dinner. Every day we went swimming at a local pool and every night we went to the fairgrounds. Each night she let us take out couch cushions and sleeping bags to sleep under the stars. Every day was so much fun being surrounded by kids. It must be great for your kids to have the joy of being together every day!

They are supposed to be cleaned off with a damp towel before prep. There’s a lot of cross contamination in the video along with raw meat touching a lot of surfaces (spice containers, etc.) I hope no one gets ill. It can be extremely dangerous. We have a family friend who almost died because of vegetables not being properly washed in a home kitchen. Even with grocery labeling stating “washed” it’s not always the case and cross contamination occurs in the store as well. Better safe than sorry.

Combine 1 pound 85% ground beef, I egg, 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs, and a dash of Worcestershire sauce, milk to moisten, about 1/4 cup. Add extra crumbs and milk if needed for the perfect loaf texture. Form into loaves on cookie sheet and coat with ketchup. Bake for one hour. @moonshiro2 жыл бұрын
Hi Alicia! As for the insides of the peppers, I have budgies and they really like that part so you might want to check if it's okay to give your chickens those parts and thus avoid more wastage! In addition, peppers are relatively easy to grow, so it might be worth checking if you can grow them in the garden too! Regarding the mushrooms, you can clean them with a brush to remove soil, wash them with water quickly (quickly because they are porous and will suck the water if they are under the current for too long) or peel the top part of the dome And a question about the skewers, don't you soak them in water before you skewer food on them? Don't they burn like that? And it was really nice to hear and see you and Josh talking in the morning and getting organized, and he helps and says you're ying and yang, it was lovely Edit - Ok now I just got to the part in the video where you say you didn't have time to soak the skewers XD less than a minute after I wrote my comment, but yes it is very useful and you can do it the night before before you go to bed, just fill a long container with water and throw the skewers in and it will be ready by morning

I’d love to see the school supplies you get! I teach art and just unpacked about 40 boxes of school art supplies! Both fun and exhausting.

What do you do with all the ends of the bread you always stick on the side? I use them to make bread crumbs.

Beyond the physical needs of feeding, providing a home, for your kids, the sibling Bonds being formed in this home are priceless. Family members are invaluable. The way they do all birthday parties together and help and support one another are amazing. These kids will become adults and have families of their own. Their chidren will also be closer than the normal cousin relationship - all because this one woman chose to love each child fully and unconditionallly.

🤔 Alicia, just an idea here...how about we see the older kids make dinner one time? I'd love to see it.

Why, though? So she has a bigger mess to clean up? And just let them be kids. They have the whole rest of their lives to be cooking and cleaning.

Hey Alicia, quick tip… if you soak your skewers for a little bit in water before assembling they won’t burn while cooking.

Omg I honestly didn't know low iron could cause restless leg syndrome. That makes so much sense. That was me in my teens/early 20s.
