Mix of moments from our recent intensive in Thailand.
The Intensives are not constructed around notions such as BEING UPLIFTING, FUN, HARD WORK, EXPERIENCE BASED or INSTRUCTIVE.
These can take part, appear as side effects but also disappear just as much.
The Intensives are built around SELF TRANSFORMATION and CHANGE and the tools to achieve those can vary and are less important in and of their own.
What can be shown in a clip like this is not essentially important or valuable!

Ido, the song you chose is a tarantella from Gargano, typical of southern Italy, particularly from Puglia. It speaks of love and transformation, the pains of love that a lover is forced to endure, and the transformations he must undergo to win the heart of his beloved. In one verse, it describes how he transformed into a small bird to be able to sleep next to her. Life is made up of transformations, flexibility, and evolution, and watching your video, I imagined exactly that: a transformation that begins with the physical and extends to the spiritual.

6k euro for this event, acommodation and flight is not included in price. Approximately 10 years ago I was watching interview, when was Ido asked, Ido when there will be a book. Answer was not now, not interested in enclosing movement in book, but I will put something in the future. Well, it seems its not worth it. Its worth to close the community to specific, religously devoted people to craft and charge them huge amounts of money, for benguela-like movements. How much money you will still want to gain, before you say, thats enough and I will provide something that is accesible for whole world? Or that was never a plan of yours?

Under a POV, being with Ido is like being at the top of the food chain, perhaps that's why the price and the place. Normally the prices are lower and the places more accessible through his "disciples" - Europe in general is greatly benefited in this regard -, old and new, who searching through social media, most have already appeared in some videos on this channel, and that over time he developed his own styles, which again, with half an hour of searching and a little more time observing, you can capture, even if in a gentle way, his proposal. Of course, being alongside this disruptive collective must be insane, drinking at the source of originality and the constant search for refining the movement has its price, if that's fair...

@@krizos21 nothing, well, just what I paid for on my smartphone and what I pay for on my internet... the purpose of the practice is movement, exploration, it's a matter of following the ""life style"", in the end it all comes down to a body expressing what a mind can/has the potential to think... following them helps to discover new gaps/connections between movements, patterns, progressions. Obviously, it's not easy, it's motivation, the desire to know yourself, understand your limitations and move.

@@rthumd so at the end of the day, you havent spend a dime on online courses or workshops of Ido. This resulted propably in your search into old blog of Ido, maybe testimony's of people who paid for online coaching, interviews and such. Maybe you even found a reddit post where, there was direct step by step path that Ido went (it was described which teachers did he picked through his journey, i.e. charles poliquin, christopher summer, his capoeira mestre etc.). So in general, you could write your own book and schedule your life to be your own movement teacher walking by the same foot steps. Obviously, materials are there, I see no issues with that and you could get that, (nearly) for free. This all mystery now faded out and a lot of stuff is not mysterious and unique anymore. Like how adults, attain high level flexibility, under Ido's guidance (corset protocol i.e. loaded progressive stretching). And I also get that, he wanted to train with elites only to cut down those wankers (propably like me) who complains about everything, top of the top, best from the best. But still I think promise is promise and I'm just wondering, since it went so philosophical and again went into mysterious state of those fancy names like microbatics, less action more philosophy and such, it seems that it becomes like a marketing trick again, which invites people to dive into unknown field, which actually is known and explored by someone else, but its named differently, as usually happens with Ido's teachings. He learn something and change its name to something different to farm peoples money multiplied by 10. So I'm just wondering if the book promise was also a disguise for keeping people alert to that only, thats it.

Movement is natural ability, which can be developed by devoting yourself in capoeira for example. Or some gymnastic routine. those strong men an women does not need Ido with his outrageous pricing. They just need to learn how to fly

Why not pick the spot that provides world-class amenities for high level athletes and sports camps from all over the world?

Pues sí, se podrían hacer esos talleres en los distintos lugares de origen y así podrían asistir personas que no se pueden permitir turismo de lujo en un país que, por cierto, es pionero en turismo sexual infantil. Pero supongo que es más rentable hacerlo así para la élite económica, que de esta forma no tiene que juntarse con la chusma.
