Nice video. 3:41 Why is it called POV-Mode? For me the term Full Follow Mode would be mot juste (all 3 axes lile pan, tilt, and roll axis are unlocked). The mode you call Full Follow mode is in my opinion a Pan and Tilt Follow modus (with only the roll axis locked).

I just picked up a v1 second hand for $30 Australian. Original box all accessories, used once by the original owner. Smelt brand new inside. Looks brand new, no scratches. Bargain, I experimented and made an ultimate livestream rig with it which allows me to use my phone and wireless mic parts and adaptor cables. I can’t use current phone gimbals and add all the extra weight so this original crane Zhiyun v1 has been a great investment. I just did a 2 hr livestream with it at the beach and it had 82% battery life remaining after 2 hrs so the weight is still not worrying those motors on the gimbal as it’s less than half a kilo of weight. I’m stoked with this v1 as it’s enhanced my ability to livestream with smooth footage

Finally I found the right tutorials about gimbal usage. First of all thanks for that. I have Crane 2 as the first ever Gimbal and currently stuck on deciding the right mode for a product shoot. I never used any other gimbal with a DSLR or even for the smartphones. Now I have balanced and setup the Crane 2 but I rarely could use it on my product shoots which I usually do for reviews because I could actually never use it the right way probably. I tried using the Lock mode supposing it would lock on the subject but as long as I have understood it won't lock on anything which is closer to the camera. It only locked on a view which is around 10 feet far. I am not sure about that. After watching your video titled "MUST-KNOW Filming Techniques With a Gimbal" on a workout in gym. I think, it's the Full Follow mode that I should use in product shoot and use my own movement to keep the product in center. Is that correct? What Gimbal mode do you recommend for shooting a product on a nearer table. Say for reviews? I couldn't find a specific tutorial about that. If you could help in that regard that would be awesome. I did actually find one but it was itself a review of Crane 2 where the guy was shooting a product. It was not really helpful. There is also a question about Focus Ring on Crane 2. It works with only some lenses but not all. I couldn't find the real reason behind that. I am not using the Follow Focus module but the ring itself works with 6D Mark-II when connected. Can you explain about it too. I know it's a long request. Hope you'll entertain this. Once again, thanks for your tutorials, I actually now know much more than before about the Gimbal. Looking forward and following your channel.

My less expensive gimbal locks with the trigger but no known feature I can find on the Crane M3. I would appreciate any feedback.

New to all this. When I put my Crane Plus in FF mode it immediately tilts the camera down about 15 degrees. It seems that's the starting point. Is that normal or should the camera remain straight after entering this mode? Thanks in advance.

Digging the videos. I'm using a canon 80D with Sigma 18-35. Love the gimbal, nice and smooth and your tips have been excellent. I have tried the ZY Play app and all is good but I don't get a live preview from the camera when in the correct mode - am I supposed to? Also I cannot get the panoramic mode working, the gimbal does the movement but does not fire the camera (camera cable attached and functioning otherwise). I know you don't shoot canon but any chance you can test these functions for me with a Canon cam (+preferably same lens!)?

Hi Josh, Can you please help me. My Zhiyun Crane 2 is calibrated and camera is correctly balance but still I get a slight jerk when from panning I go for tilting up in "F" mode. The Gimble tries to adjust with a slight jerk. How to go about?

Hi! I'm the new user with this gimbal and I have an issue when I used zhiyun crane 2 with my 700D + canon STM 18-55mm lens. The issue is Zhiyun Crane 2 continue slightly to the left slowly when I use in Lock mode. Can you tell me what can I do to fix this issue? I just do callibrate, and setting properly. But that issue still there, you can easily to see it when you shot timelapse with zhiyun crane 2.

I'm having a hard time getting mine into "full" mode and I'm sure it's my lack of skill. When it powers up I believe it defaults to pan follow mode? First you have to have the latest Firmware update for the Crane, then when turned on, Press Twice, then Press Twice again and you are in POV mode.

The only time I know when to turn off stabilization is when the camera is mounted on a tripod, that is according to the camera/lens manuals and I think that is just to save on battery power. I may be mistaken though.

AH OK..there is a lot of confusing storys when it comes to turnig off stabilisation on gimbals ..even go pros or mirrorless cameras like my gx85 panasonic and go pro 6 ..if you find out something let me know.So far i was filming with srtabilisation on while using Zhiun crane M and no problems cheers from Melbourne and all the best my good friend (David)
