I went on Umrah and something that I did not enjoy was wearing the Ihram, changing into it from the UK. I felt like I was wearing a single cloth thing that made me feel vulnerable. If my family with me got into trouble and I had to fight, I'd be swinging my fists and the Ihram will be slipping, I'd fighting threats naked. I have read and heard stories about the taxi drivers who drive you around in Saudi and other kinds of creeps around the kabah, and I made a solid commitment and determination in my head that I'm not going to be a vulnerable victim, if I have to defend myself and family against anyone, and if I happen to become unveiled during the scuffle, then so be it, I don't care, as long as I've wrecked the threatening attacker and've done my job in defending, I'll just pick up the Ihram and put it back on...I would hope that the authorities don't see me and think that I'm trying to molest the taxi driver.

At 1:06:05 mufti mentioned Arrogance by the clerics. I always felt that these clerics are embarrassing when they show arrogance to other religious beliefs. They advice us with such ego to not to wish other’s festivals. My non- muslim colleagues wish me Happy Ramadan, For Hajj and how can I ignore to wish their festival. Their interpretation of Islam is so strict and give no leeway and make us anti- social with non- muslims and limit us to integrate feeling guilty and fear. I love the way you talk about yourself and show such himility. Love your honesty and humble style.😆🌈👍👏🤝💪🏽👌. To those Arrogant clerics, I give 👹👻💩💩💩💩💩🤣😛

@@mkhan9764 Its not about whims... I meant that the Imams should balance the approach and their style of explanation. The Imams of other groups are also following their whims by propagating their Elders deen and their interpretations. The mainstream Ullamahs already changed the deen by narrating false and weak hadiths and the false stories. The technology is helping the common muslims to learn the hidden and weak interpretations through bold and independant scholars. Only the independant scholars have guts to speak up. The scolars or the Ulanas belonging to any groups are messed up and are full of competition and have political agendas.

@@mkhan9764, you're saying the truth. You're forbidden from wishing good on their festivals. That is established clearly in the Qur'aan and Sunnah as we disassociate ourselves from the disbelievers. This doesn't mean we don't accept them as humans and show them compassion (as long as they aren't our enemies), but that we don't develop love for them and their festivals due to their disbelief. This is established with us in Islaam and the early generations of Muslims treated non-Muslims as such. So please, I advise you and I love you my brother @Musti Khan, be different from the kuffaar and be exactly like the best of the Muslims. I hope the message finds you with a clear mind. :)))

Damn mufti you had harsh teachers, I've always been taught God is kind and merciful. He is only wrathful when you mock him and constantly at that and you cross the limit. Also why he always kept sending Musa (peace be upon him) to Pharaoh, even though he was manifestly disobedient and a tyrant. He even sent the Prophet (peace be upon him) to the Arabs constantly preaching tawheed, even though they were manifestly rebellious and constantly insulting and mocking him (peace be upon him). No firing thunderbolts from the sky like he's portrayed by people, like he's Zeus.

God gives us examples so we can understand concepts, but he reminds us there is no mithal of him. Heck even the lessons we get are different from batman. It could be that they divorced themselves from tasawwaf, sufis tend to have a better concept of God.

Its Monday night so no dmt's for me becase of al-ramadaaan-al-kareeem-al-mubaraaak however I might be chasing the dragon tonight (dhua dhua - smoke is) everywhere. God, Mother, Sustenance, Prophet Yusuf (as) his fallen brothers, Seduction, Father Jacob (as) Ramadaan. Preparedness 365 is Key otherwise it just becomes a ritual..... or does it?

The whole Haleem & Usman premise is that, if earlier Maliki’s say it in their books, the current Maliki’s have to follow without question. That’s absurd. Just bc you adhere to a legacy, There’s isn’t a need for blind following MALM is a Mufti and a Mujtahid by his own right, he can come up with new fatwas & opinions if he wants to. He has the traditional licence to do that & his ijaza goes through Ibn Ashur back to Imam Malik Hope you understand

The main problem is that they cannot accept his authority as a MUFTI and cannot fathom the fact that his position is above all of them in “hierarchy” & that he has the right to come with new relatively radical opinions Ofc he will be held responsible, only by Allah.
