Tomorrow we can get the first pattern for the mystery quilt from FQS. For you young folks: The older tvs had knobs (dials) you turned for channels - most of us only picked up 3 tv channels and 1 of those was PBS. So when they would go to commercial they would say - Don’t touch that dial. Thanks Sheri for another great video!!

I am still buying fabric but I have cut back soooooo much it is unbeliveable! I am 71 and have enough fabric to make quilts until I am 150! (and maybe older!) Oh!!! Great. I love aprons, I have 2 and I would love more and I would love to gift one to my next door neighbor, She is a young mother. late twentys early 30's. We don't really visit, just a hello or a wave. Sounds great to me.I'm in. One for me, one for my Sister and one for Mira.

TVs used to have a knob called a dial used to change the channel. Yes, you had to get up off the couch and walk to the tv to do it! Right before a commercial the tv announcer would say, Don’t touch that dial, so you wouldn’t change the channel to another show during the commercial.

Don't touch that dial... back when rafios had dials to turn the channels. News drams, and music were the main entertainment. Also telephones/landlines had dials too.

Yeah nothing like sew yeah selling camille fabric right out of the box to (almost) mess up my no buy july commitment..lol i stayed strong…stay strong sewists! I sew slow too..i dont like mistakes and have learned over the years to not rush.

I dont clean in an apron but i cook in one! I love cross back aprons and have many and i love lil half aprons. I make all my family and close friends aprons too…ill give a random one to someone! Love that tree fabric. When organizing my fabric, I realized that green Christmas type trees was my favorite. I’m also doing no-buy Jill. However, now many friends have been giving me their “it’s not speaking to me”fabrics.

I need to do this! Several years ago my late SIL made me an apron from one of her vintage tablecloths that I loved. I have it hanging in my pantry ... just because. But I really need one I will actually wear.

I have been doing no buy for my yarn stash for a couple of years. I keep track of the amount I use and track it by weight. Since i knit for charity, I am able to use my stash and not buy more. My fabric is purchased only when I need something for a project-because our quilt group has boxes of donated fabric that I can pull from. I sew for charity primarily.

I love the winter quilt colors. I don't decorate for holidays but the seasonal quilts are a great idea. "Don't touch that dial" was something I heard a lot as a kid. Was it a specific radio or TV show that said it? I can't remember. I want to say a game show.
