I maintain that this is what set the train in motion for season 6's finale. Kevin Bright typically doesn't leave the audience screams in the final cut so, when this happened and that happened, it's clear that they were using this as a litmus test to see if the audience was onboard with Mondler for the long haul as a viable couple -- not just FWBs -- and wanted the viewers to get onboard as well.

They passed with flying colors. Part of that was riding the momentum that they got from the first litmus test filming in London and hearing the audience going out of their minds with excitement. This first proposal was the all-important home test, back on the WB lot. If the fans back home didn't care for Mondler or Monica and Chandler individually, then they and BKC would have flunked. Luckily for Friends history, they passed the home test. Onward with my favorite Friends couple!
