Snippets of the Offa's Dyke Path that aren't as well celebrated as other stretches. Good to see you're walking about the grove, Mark. I can't believe it's already been four years with your injury! I also enjoy how you reference past walks and camps or people you've met, as you reach a point on a walk that holds a story for you. Thanks also for the mention, Mark. Reporting these obstructions is a lawful action we can take. I know nothing of Monmouthshire Council and how they might respond but I hope you'll let us know once you have heard back. Hey Mark, that was fab! 😃 It was great to see your Kingswood loop walk before we met up. I vaguely remember walking through that wood once when I did Offa's Dyke years ago, but it was nice to see you walking there. It was looking beautiful especially after the rain. That grove was awesome, as was the oak you showed us where you and Paul sat. Shame these bloody landowners have to take it upon themselves to block rights of way. Funny to hear about Janice and Josh saying "not again!" 😂 Great to see the footage at the end you took when we met in Monmouth. That sure was a great day. I really enjoyed that Mark. I love this time of year with all its subtle changes. The misty views were very atmospheric. That grove looked so inviting...definitely my kind of walk - perfectly beautiful. How lovely to have met up with Patrick. He was the first channel that I subscribed to, and it was from watching his walks that made me decide to have a go myself. When we were holidaying in Wales, there were a couple of walks where the sign posts had been pulled up and hidden in the undergrowth... bit silly of the landowners/farmers to do this as you're then wandering around their land trying to find your route! We had a farmer come after us because we were in the wrong field trying to find our way - he directed us in the right direction where we found the hidden sign! Anyway, great video Mark, hope you didn't suffer too much with your ankle! Have a great weekend. All the best, Jenny 😊

This lovely walk was much needed on a stressful day. Thank you so much Mark! I know of a couple of places here where public roads pass thru private property, and landowners have blocked the road. Sorry to hear about your leg/ankle Mark, I thought things were improving, must be very frustrating to want to do so much more. But you’re still out in the mud and rain so it’s not stopping you. The difference between England and Scotland for rights of way and just landowners attitudes is like night and day. In Scotland the landowners come up to you, greet you with a shake of the hand and on many occasions point out the best places to go. In England it appears landowners do everything possible to restrict people just being anywhere near their vicinity, so stupid. Anyway you take care Mark, I hear whisky is good for ankle and leg pain because after a bottle or two the pain goes away lol. All the best, Bill and his three monsters
