Thank you Mark, for sharing the sublime beauty of the landscape, the ancient buildings, the lovely book, precious memories of Paul, and the ravens! I have mad love for ravens, whom I call "sky dancers", and have seen them perform whole ballets in the sky. I don't think that any other bird takes such absolute joy in flight! I love to watch them play with the wind and ride the thermals. If I could come back as any animal, it would be a raven. Thank you again my friend. Peace!

A real pleasure Cynthia. It is special around there - it goes deep and nature and history. So, good to hear of your love for Ravens. They are incredible birds - 'sky dancers.' I like that. For sure it wouldn't be bad coming back as one of them. All the best my friend. Take care over there. Mark

Hi Mark! I really enjoyed that... you could really sense the feeling of love for life you have all along the walk. The two Anthony's, the two conkers, you and Paul...I too, believe there are natural connections within the natural world. The book is beautiful, the sort that I would love to have on my book shelf. There were so many parts of the video that I thought, oh, I love that... the hollow, the wonky church, the restored cottage! A walk full of wonderment! Brilliant! All the best, Jenny 😊

Hi Jenny, what a fantastic comment. Yes, lots of love in this one on multiple levels as you saw - the Anthony's/twin connection, the landscape, the cottage, the magical book and old boy Doug the farmer. As for the book there are copies about. Many thanks Jenny. All the best. Mark

Hi Mark. What a great trip that was and so nice of those good people to give you a wonderful gift such as that Beautifully illustrated Book. It's nice to know that there are still some decent genuine people in The World. I think the Rooster was a Rhode Island Red, my Dad used to keep a few when I was a young lad. Some great views and some lovely old buildings too mate 👍👍

Hi Steve, I totally agree - it sure does restore your faith in kindness when people give you such special things. I think you might be right about the Chicken although someone else (Anita) has mentioned the buff orpington cockerel. But I think the Rhode Island is closer. Good to hear of your dad's flock. For sure awesome views and super old farms. All the best old mate. Mark

Walking from the southern end of the Black Mountains to Llanthony Valley a stunning and tranquil experience , leads you through breathtaking panoramic views of rolling hills, ancient paths, and secluded valleys. Llanthony Priory, with its serene ruins, emerges as a hidden gem, offering a peaceful spot to rest and reflect on the beauty of the landscape. What a marvellous walk Mark. I do hope I get to visit the crooked church at Cwmyoy someday. That is so right up my street. All all the synchronicity too, two Anthonys at Llanthony and the raving and the ravens. All magical stuff. It just reeks of ages past and memories that place. I visited Llanthony Priory a good few years back now but the visit was quite fleeting sadly. I loved the book too, beautiful text and illustrations. I'd be buzzing for days after a walk like that. ATB, Chris
