Sword and shield is my second favorite weapon in Generations and I have had a ton of fun with it. There are so many ways to use the weapon that it never gets boring. When I first found out about this new art my first thought was "This is just going to be insanely broken" Looks like I guessed correctly. Now I can't wait to try it out.

Oh my god this is so cool I kind of wish stacking Mind's Eye didn't actually apply the oil, though. This means if I want to sharpen but I already have affinity oil, I have to either wait for that to wear off, or replace the oil and then re-apply it. Oh well, still good!

This is probably one of the most OP hunter arts in the game. +60% affinity by default for SnS is ridiculous (it almost makes Weakness Exploit a waste), and the possibility to sharp the sword so quickly means that Absolute readiness is no longer needed to keep the sharpness at maximum.

Well, it does have a charge of 1000 at level 3, 1400 if you have it as an SP art. It would only last for 2 minutes, which makes it burst damage if you opt out of WE, since before you can use it your dps is lower. Being able to effectively sharpen so quick during that 2 minute period is nice, but again, what about the rest of the hunt? I'm not saying you or anyone has to still use WE & Absolute Readiness; however, the HA doesn't outright negate their usefulness.

Daaamn...I'd heard the stacking made it powerful, but seeing it in action and the full numbers is a whole other story, especially the super fast whetstone effect. I don't really SnS very much and I'm not fond of fighting the Metal Raths outside of my 4U Water Kinsect set, but damn this is tempting. Really gives SnS an extra edge.

one video I have not seen anyone do, but I personally think would be pretty interesting, would be a video showcasing the armor skill "Trump card" which increases the effectiveness of hunter arts, when a monster is paralyzed, asleep, trapped, or knocked over. Trump card's effect is different for each hunter art, so I think it would be good to know what, exactly, it does to each one.

We also got the stealth nerf for the poke attack that NOBODY talks about. In MH4U you got a white/purple note from doing a poke attack so you could line up your self-buff song immediately with a double poke. They removed that and made it so it instead gives you the note that corresponds to the A button.

In Gen, I love Daze Eye so much 190 raw but fire 44 is damn high plus 15% aff. Lunatic Briar is a must, though it is second poison from Deadly Poison but just 5 unit is enough to compensate with the longer blue sharpness Why must, you may ask. It is our role to support the team when goes for Kushadaora, you can poison it fast prevent the team from the black wind when it enrages. Last, Treasured Fedda. Look at its sharpness! Super crazy but one is optional, it just appeal to me (if you have armor with high expert and atk, it is super perfect with this SnS)

Yo Gaijinhunter, Partbreaker doesn't affect stagger rates after a part has been broken - only before. This was true in MHGen, and I haven't heard otherwise for MHXX.

The Partbreaker skill (and thus the oil with the same effect) doesn't increase the flinch rate on monsters. It only does so when the part you are hitting isn't broken yet.

XenoBlazen just any set with attack up razor sharp and maybe the skil that increases your art charging (can't thank of name), then use a deviant lance (preferably hellblade). if you have a good sharpness charm you can gem uka or nakarkos armor and be just fine

XenoBlazen it's a set called triple LOS..you can check it on the r series armor vid...skills:attack up L,weakness exploit and razor sharp...I've done it and it works really well
