I saved all my scraps from previous blocks to use as an oops kit. It has saved me a few times! When the quilt top is done I plan to use the leftovers to create a pillow or some other little project.

Quilted post cards would be great way to use leftover fabric. My quilt guild did a quilted post card exchange for this years holiday project. I had to learn to do it. Really fun. Would be a great Misty tutorial

I love it when Jenny starts talking about choosing a good ruler for your brain. It's such a casual example of access considerations in quilting and I love it when she explains her thinking!

BLOCK 10!!!! I am so excited that we are almost to the end and will have our quilts finished. Who knew when we started that this would be one of our joys that kept us going through COVID -19! Thank you, Jenny and everyone at MSQC! I also love our Facebook group.

I LOVE doing stars, it's like quilting equals stars. It's my MOST favorite pattern. This has such variety I can't wait to get started. Also you are looking "great" and back to your bubbly self. I want to let you know AGAIN that I'm SO THANKFUL for coming across your videos. Without them, I would have NEVER have taken the plunge into quilting. It's been my saving grace for many troubling times. May you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Hi Jenny, I just now finished block 10. I started it when it first arrived then I made a boo boo. I cut my white 7" background squares TWICE diagonally instead of just once. So I put the block away until I had some time to look at it and think how to fix it. So, I just sewed half those blocks back together thinking I would have to add an extra white strip a now they would be 1/2" too short. Low and behold they fit perfectly! I still cannot see how they fit perfectly after losing 1/2". Anyway it all worked out and am ready to start assemble. Thank you so much for this BOM. I learned so much through your tutorials of each and every block. I have used some blocks I learned in other projects as they all are so pretty. It was like taking a course every month and fabric and pattern were included in price! I haven't heard yet what this years BOM is. Looking forward to it. I really appreciate you and all your staff!

Jenny, I've been following all 10 month's of stars & have so enjoyed them all. I do want to say, though, I've never seen 1/4 square triangles done this way unless there's that odd chance I've missed one of your tutorials!! I LOVE this way & will be trying it. Have a Happy Thanksgiving :)

HELP!!!!! I feel so sick!!!!! I just realized that I cut my tiger/chartreuse combo blocks the same direction. I was following along with Jenny and the booklet, I don't know what I did, I must have had one pile turned 90 degrees. Can I get more fabric? ***I would like to say a great big THANK YOU to MSQC for sending me the fabric I needed. You are the BEST!***

There is a 1/4” Clearly Perfect Slotted Trimmer and it was just on a daily deal a week or two ago and I purchased it. I’m really glad I bought it because it is hard to find tools to square HST and QST without it. I thought for sure you would have gotten it Jenny. You are the one who got me interested in it and I love it. Thanks!

Thank you Jenny, as usual you were awesome and so helpful. I just started sewing again last year and never spent a lot of time quilting, I mostly made clothes and pillows. But I decided to jump in with both feet and have caught the quilting bug, especially after your the trunk show at the Road to California. I have loved learning so much from you these past 10 months. Thank you for the blessing of this opportunity. Happy Thanksgiving.

Hey Jenny that sewing machine you use for these videos is set down inside the cabinet just a bit and it makes you hold onto your fabric while falling off a step. I bet there's somebody around there who could make the machine level for you and you could hold things easier.

You always make it look so easy. Love watching you. Question on material, I did the Diamond block, but had a problem with a bit of bunching when sewing blocks together. What can I do to not have that happen

Do you use leaders and enders? That may help. Several KZbin quilters have videos on using them (Lori Holt, Karen Brown).

It might mean that you aren't sewing a consistent 1/4" seam. It doesn't have to be exactly 1 /4" and everyone's is slightly different but you do need to be consistent throughout. Otherwise you are trying to fit different lengths together which is okay if it's an 1/8th or so, can be eased in but you'll get bunching/pleats if there's a larger difference.
