Hi Jakob great video as always! I learned a little trick the other day with the knob sensitivity. Place one finger on the panel where it’s blank then try adjusting the filter you’ll now see that it is very slow moving and easy to fine tune the instrument

That's one amazing app. It's like they designed in the quirks and back doors on purpose.

TIP TIP !!! Hi Jakob! here’s a tip if you want the dials to tune a lot more finite, (detailed) hold one finger on any part of the wood on the synthesizer, and then try control the frequency dial with your other finger. it will be a lot slower and detailed :) thanks partner!

Mogue rhymes with rogue. At least that's how Bob says it. Another perfect tutorial. Thanks

Been waiting for this! 👍 By the way, Moog is pronounced like rogue and not like stooge.

David Covington actually neither is no where near right way to say the old german last name Moog where the company name comes from. Its something like r and o like rogue, but then some weird sound that resembles something like k, a hint of r maybe and h said at the same time where the h reverbs a bit

David Covington The question of pronunciation is a complicated one. In his own words: m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3WxXqxmhrZqmdU There is also a story that Bob and and his first wife Shirleigh "decided" on their preferred pronunciation after they were married because she didn't want to be ridiculed by her first graders: www.imperialdrag.com/chatter/articles/kbm796.html

I was using a midi keyboard and sometimes the Grid Music app to generate tones to modulate and i couldn't figure out for the life of me what the keyboard control switch was for. haha.

I love Oscilloscopes. Which one are you using? :D And can we get the initialized preset as a download? I asked you some weeks ago under another video but didn't see an answer.
@JakobHaq6 жыл бұрын
Did the Init preset -function not work for you? I didn't share the preset since I was planning on making this video where I'm showing how to initialise the synth (at 1:00 ). The oscilloscope is named "oscilloscope" and made by Onyx apps. The app is old and haven't been updated for a while. I wouldn't recommend it since it doesn't have support for either AUv3, IAA nor Audiobus. I use it with hardware connections (sound ported in through a Behringer UCA-202). There are other oscilloscopes out there but I haven't found the right one yet so I can't recommend one yet. 😅

Ah I see! Thanks! If you ever find a AUv3 or IAA able Oscilloscope WAKE ME UP :D Will be looking out for that initialize-session. Thanks for your advice and link for the 1 minute mark.
