the music sounds so metallic, I was not sure if the song or the speaker made it that way - I wish you had used a known track or even a classic segment that has all the sound spectrum in it - You see, one can get any Specs. for the unit but your advantage is to provide the sound, Many reviewers overlook this and I can't tell you how disappointing that is. I say 2 min. of specs. and 4 minutes of clear sound testing... food for thoughts.

Can you adjust the volume with with your computer

Yes, but I recommend having the volume dial at normal than changing it in the computer.

When using this with a desktop computer can you get sound output from just plugging it in as a usb or do you have to use Bluetooth?

@@user_Z- Must use the Bluetooth as the USB only powers the lights.
