Exactement Marie. La chanson en français à la fin est drôle, mais justement un peu bizarre quand même. D'ailleurs je sais même pas si c'est une vrai chanson ou si ce n'est pas quelque chose de faux créer seulement pour la vidéo. As a native English speaker, in case any learner is wondering - nobody talks like that. Hugely complicated words like they had in the video? I have never heard of some of them. At the very inception of the video, I was bumfuzzled by the ponderosity of the lexicon used by the proletariats, even a tête-à-tête seemed like an alien jargon. Much obliged to the vocabulary pills that facilitated me in assimilating the lexicon, and now even my consanguinity cannot comprehend or even dare having an altercation with me. Sans the pills, I would have never attained this.

So funny I can't even pick my favourite part. I will however be adding some new words to my vocabulary to impress the plebs at dinner parties. For example, "Is there a tittynope of turkey as I fancy a turkey sannie" or "It all started when I overboiled the brussels and now the dinner's all gone cattywampus". I'm not sure the choice of a potato for a vegetable is purely by chance but I bet that Parmentier is turning in his grave (or should I say Walter Raleigh?) :)

As I watched the video, I noticed the glass of water wasn't really that large. Do you think it possible that insufficient water might've caused the problem? LOL. I don't know what it's like for someone who is a non-native speaker, but as a native speaker who worked in publishing, and is thus very much in favor of communication, I just wanted to smack the original arrogant coworker upside the head for failing at language's basic goal. Should you strive to improve your vocabulary? Yes. But you shouldn't just be stringing complicated and unusual words together for the sake of using the largest and most complicated word that you know. And some of it is also context. Cattywampus, for example, does not belong in the mouth of someone who is trying to be super impressive. It's, like, 1840s slang that we still occasionally use. And slang is not something you pull out in a formal setting for respect from your peers. No one should have thought that was cool. It's more a word you pull out regionally when speaking informally or for literary usage.

You pronouncing "schedule" in what my family calls the British way (idk if it actually specifically is or not) of 'shed-yuhl' threw me for a loop for a moment. I wasn't sure what you'd said until hitting rewind. Until recently, I'd previously only heard it said that way in the Mary Poppins movie. We've always said it 'sked-jul' with the j sounding like the start of the word "jewel". We're in the Pacific NW, for reference.
