It's possible but intact furby's are QUITE heavy so you'll need to make a support for the spine. This is a problem Buttered Noodle encountered so they would probably know more.

It's definitely possible, I did it with mine! I just put a zipper running along the back so the batteries and machinery are still accessible. Weight is also an issue as someone else pointed out, so I'd suggest getting a larger size for the spine than what's typically recommended, and you will need some other type of support to keep the head upright if you plan on posing the furby (I didn't add supports to mine, so it can only really sit up if it's leaning against something). Good luck!!
