I am very glad to see additional Lineages and Heritages released! I LOVE options! Kobold Press has also released some on their Midgard Mondays Blog as remakes from their Midgard books for Tales of the Valiant. I collected them and made a PDF.

I always love more lineage/race options so glad to see this supplement. Especially looking forward to seeing what powerful combinations can be made. :)

Dubs, you are such a class act… Telling it like it is, from someone who’s been there and done that… Very valuable viewpoint you have. More people need to listen.

How would I do a Scarlet Citadel tutorial?
@pim8562 ай бұрын
@@MrTarrasque I have only been dm’ing for a year now. Did the phandelver campaign with 2 groups at the same time and now rolled into curse of strahd with both groups when phandelver ended. As a beginning dm I checked the video’s of the verdigris table - Ryan Doyle channel. He told what to expect, how to prep your group, how to prep myself and how to deal with situations within each chapter. It gave me inspiration for my own campaign. The same I have done with the channel ‘no fun allowed’ for curse of strahd’. Every location had its own video so it is easy to browse through the playlist while I prep my sessions when I know they are about the enter a certain location. Like a lot of other people in this world; I learn better by watching and listening instead of reading. I do have the books but when someone explains it to me in a video I am much better at staying focused. I grab the book too when I need to know details. But you have a fun and nice way of explaining things. You don’t talk monotonous so I would definitely be able to keep my concentration while you would tell me how to handle the scarlet citadel (or any other kobold press module).

Thankfully I passed up this 5E clone. So unappealing since I already don’t like 5E as a game system.

It makes me sad that you reject the lineage that most clearly comes from Numenéra.

Did KP develop an online or downloadable Character Creator for ToV? The presents or absence of a Character Creation Tool tells me if an RPG Developer just wants to sell books or if they want people actually playing their game. Most RPG developers market to "Dreamers". *Sorry: Hard Truth

I don’t think there is. Personally I’m not looking for it but I totally agree that it would make it a lot more fun for a lot of people.

If you NEED a dedicated program to hold your hand through character creation for a game this simple that’s a you problem.

Nomadic. Homesteader. Cosmopolitan. : Without looking, which is a Heritage or a Background? While I enjoy the flexibility of ToV character creation it is annoying how blurry the line is between Heritage and Background. Heritage: "Heritage represents the upbringing and culture of a character." Background: "Background helps define your character’s personal history before becoming an adventurer." If both can literally be the same thing, design-wise, it should be the same thing.
