Seeing this video mades me wonder have you heard about Edge of War? Id love to see your impressions of it. This Mortal Crux have a charming idea but i wonder how much will materialize, seens very early, like a passionate single dev experimenting with all the cool ideas (and feature list only increasing) but not making an actual game yet... i speak from experience as i did some of that (ambitious project idea, unreal engine and not an actual game doc that was more like a growing wishlist) and was too much for me alone to tackle for real. I hope he is one of the great solo devs that can pull it off but even so im afraid it will take a long while for a release... Since youre so passionate for rpgs i wanted to see your impressions of Edge of War - its from a small team and released a very early early acess on steam but it went completely under the radar. The team admited they released the EA early and had to refit their original plans as their funding and team was hit hard (something to do with the war in ukraine too if im not mistaken) so the campaign wont be as huge as originally planned... and its very Larian, id say more, since its fully turn based and also involve elemental/physics shenanigans... and totally based on Finnish Folklore for a change, heck theres troll-esque and moose-man as playable races Im not involved with the project, just a fan, but this is the kind of coverage im surprised no one did for EoW. Thank you! Multiple difficulty settings are planned so you'll be able to adjust the experience to be as hardcore as you like. There's no Early Access yet. As soon as I have a release date I'll announce it on the Steam page and on my socials. Since you've wishlisted you should also get an email from Steam when Early Access becomes available.

The level of detail I'm seeing in Mortal Crux is very impressive. Unless it comes to console however I am not able to play it. Gaming PCs and the stuff to make them is way out of price range.

While the PC version is my first priority, I'd love to port to consoles in the future! I've already added full controller support so gameplay and UI are being built with console gaming in mind when the time comes.

@@MortalCrux It's understandable that you'd want to finish the PC version first. Trying to handle more than one at the same time would be an unreasonable ask. Keep going, it looks you're really work so far.
