​@@maudeboggins9834 Yes, two unique and charismatic women for sure. As a young TV researcher I met Bea Arthur in 1993, she was exactly as you would imagine. At my tender age I found her a little scary, she didn't suffer fools bless her! Just read we lost Fenella in 2018, aged 90, a wonderful one-off.

I left Britain 25 years ago so it is hard to keep up with who has passed plus who is new in tv. A lot has passed me by. I Googled Shirley Bassey to make sure she too is still in the land of the living. She has a great voice & sense of humour.

i got to know this lady a little when I was a kid - she spent some time at our house when she was in town for a play. Made quite an impression on an adolescent boy! The sexiest voice I ever heard, and a luminous personality. I remember her as a very kind and witty person. Sorry to hear that she has passed away.
