The benefit to a child's body is EXACTLY your complaints Pat. They're weak willed and fragile - so they're easier to possess. Adults have FAR more resilience and are a nightmare for demons to take control of. ~ Source, experience.

Meanwhile I'm thinking Shou Tucker is basically part of the evil half of the parent balance. A big part, mind you. Mostly had Fullmetal Alchemist flashbacks from the alchemical symbols and both Pats saying alchemy. Also, to be honest Shou is worse because Amanda may have been a ghost but what's left in the chimera is alive in hell. Usually it's rare for ghosts in horror games to be completely aware, even rarer to be someone close to Cassidy, Elizabeth, William, or Charlie from FNAF, and even rarer in a sense they are cut and dry the same exact person in every way aside from physically being there.

I think that Wooly tried his best to get Amanda/Rebecca to fight off the evil creature controlling her. There was a scene in one of the tapes when she was actually asking for help using the cat as a way to talk about herself. I haven't played the game but I watched a vtuber (Kenji) playing it.

16:50 because it's easier to influence a child into believing something than it is to target a teen or an adult because children haven't learned the way of the world demon's greatest weapon is lying, and kids are easy to lie to trying to lie to an adult or even a teenager would be a little harder because adults have learned the ins and outs of the world (for the most part) and teenagers are rebellious to anything with authority or for the most part, lol (and plus demons can't forcibly take a persons body even if they are dead because of the repercussions that come with it (like in DnD if a demon forcibly enters another body they get a -2 constitution and -3 dexterity because it's a foreign body, and it will have its own way of thinking even if the body has no soul)

DON'T TRUST WOOLY!! Balam has the head of a sheep and manipulated his prison key keeper dude's daughter into bringing him sacrifices after he died. Wooly is Balam. Sam stopping the incantations trapped Balam (now wooly) in the screen. So he's having the innocent child (Rebecca/Amanda) bring him sacrifices. You know "wolf in sheep's clothing" and allat jazz.

I find that the Zoo scenes (or the many Wooly-being-tortured ones) might be a huge counter to your theory. Wooly's character in that scene is supposed to look tragic and unable to help. Also... I don't get why Balam should be shown as helpless against Amanda. It would be one thing if Wooly was just an always present entity, keeping Amanda "sedated", but Wooly is *shown* to be weak and helpless. Not saying that there's anything bad with your idea. After all, sheep horns may look like "Headphones". Still, I don't really feel like that's the correct interpretation. It feels a tad lacking on foundations, as if it was constructed top down. It's just an opinion, a gaming opinion. Have a nice day
