I am a well grounded 58 year old who is content and happy with my place and time in life. But, when I see this lovely young lady with this amaizing voice sing Take Me To Church (or anything for that matter), I find myself wishing I was young again. What a woman! 🌹

I got two years on you and I know exactly what you're saying. I want to be around to see her grow even more and watch her rise. And it will happen, of this I have no doubt. She wouldn't take no the the rejection letter at Julliard, she kept pressing until they relented and accepted her. She wouldn't take no to not getting Prince's permission to use his song until HE heard it. She's a VERY determined woman!

Young again why? To see her grow as an artist or for some other reason?

Morgan has the soul & power of Aretha Franklin, and then some! I saw Morgan James in concert 2 1/2 weeks ago, an evening I'll never forget!! Her CD’s ‘Nobody’s Fool’ (R&B original songs - from 2023) and ‘Memphis Magnetic’ (Soul original songs - from 2020) are OUTSTANDING! Her and Doug Wamble are quite the songwriting team!

I'll preface by saying the obvious and that Morgan is heavenly as far as vocal prowess and every square inch of her sexy self. I'll finish by saying, you can toss Prince into any genre on this planet and that man was genius all day long. Days grew shorter when that man left earth.

Barely no makeup and hardly any effort with her hair wearing non revealing clothes and she is more appealing then ever before. Truly wonderful lady and she is my favourite singer. Take me to church, Barbie girl, sweet child of mine, all about the base just to mention a few wonderful songs she covered.

@MrJacksonvill8 жыл бұрын
What was wrong with the interviewer..its New York,you got to get to the point. Facts nothing but the facts...I felt it was an effective interview. This girl loves Black music simple ..I know more about her than any other interview I've seen on her. This was the first interview I've seen on her. The fact that she asked if there is a celebrity crush she had on D'angelo was a fair question. Alot of women Loves D'angelo both black and white females. She wanted to know her sincerety for the music. Morgan proved her alegiance. Morgan is no Saint! Trust me. and I don't know her. She is in the music business,obviously she has tenacity. Nobody is a Saint pursuing that industry. You could be nice,but not that nice trust me. I'am involved as well.
@biancachi64358 жыл бұрын
+Garfield Harrison you need to chill. I was referencing that the interviewer knew nothing about her subject. Journalist should be informed. And I called her a saint because she was very chill despite the fact that the interviewer clearly knew nothing. You have too much time on your hands.
@biancachi64358 жыл бұрын
+Garfield Harrison I said nothing about race or D'Angelo....
@MrJacksonvill8 жыл бұрын
Logan Franklin I know you didn't..But I did! Sorry race plays a factor,because thats the way they set it up..so when I see white folks enamouring Black music,I think back to all the generations who paid a heavy price for singing blues,when they used to call it race music. Now they found a new name for it Black music. Or Urban Music..it never stops..I like the fact that Morgan revers the music,and she give props to all the artists. I wish more of us would do that. So yes,race is a factor..

The interviewer, sounds extremely fake... The odd exaggerated words ... 'Wooow'. 'I ABOUT to start crying' ' Just very very fake. And Morgan foils that.
