I admire your important work for professionals out there who are simply fed up with paying the price of a kidney for a pseudo professional/consumer level mac that simply just looks good and monetarily impresses others. It seems creative work nowadays is similar to talking tech and GeekBench content creation for only making video$ for youtube. maybe because of my not amazing english I though on the beginning your comment is hate comment. At final it looks like one of the nicest comments I ever get :) I don't care about benchmarks, I care about real life tests and I do really lot of tests daily. But most people wants to see only benchmarks. Yes, my channel is not sponsored by anyone, I drive it from my own pocket and it costed me for last 2 years $42,000 just to help people. There is few, really only few real supporters on my Patreon or website, but that even cannot cover my electricity bill. People are extremely ungrateful for me saving them billions of dollars already. @@MorgonautHackintosh I fixed it. It was because I copied & pasted config.plist (Skylake) from hackintosh.gitbook.io, as you said. That config.plist was for non Connector-less mode iGPU, and my iGPU is only used for compute tasks

I had two of those, one leaked completely into all my components over night and because I didn't epxected I started system as usual GRRRRRRXXXXGRRR and on second one after first installation broke the plastic holder backplate on the back of motherboard. So I decided to build mu custom water loop. Maybe I was just unlucky, because from all my clients I never heard same story, so you don't need to be afraid.

Hi. Thanks for making videos. Your in depth tutorials are amazing. I'm into making music as well and when I saw the machine you made in one of your videos, I decided to do a similar build. But some components weren't available and I had a tight budget so I had to get an asus z390 prime Mobo with i7 8700. Setting It was hell. But I have figured out most things except for the igpu. I followed framebuffer patching guide exactly like it is but still all my videos lag/stutter during playback. VLC, Ableton and some audio units/ vst plugins don't work properly but I don't really need all that. I'm thinking of buying an AMD gpu. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and has found a solution.

I never recommend to upgrade but clean installation. And yes, wait for Catalina will be at least 10.15.4 or higher version :)

Hello again Morgonaute, i follow your instructions for my built (i buy all your recomanded hardware) : I upgrade bios with your bios F6n, charge your bios preset, install OS X with your Instructions (« Build a perfect hacintosh »). I delete efi in System disk, and Copy your efi. After reboot « Thunderbolt 3 » don’t work. Have you an idea for this problem ? Thanks,

Another possibility : you don’t Connect your mve ssd in the same emplacement. In this motherbard, the sata port activation depend of the mve emplacement. I suppose that your efi is configured for one configuration specificly. No ?

Hi Morganaut, I love your videos & will come to you for help when I need it. I am contemplating a new budget build, but I still use a i7 3770k z77 build (OS 10.12.6) for 4k Multicam editing in Premiere (with proxies)! When I built it in 2012 you needed to at least read the descriptions, the comments & lots and lots of forums to learn how to build a Hackintosh, or you were stuck with a pile of PC parts! Your videos are amazing, and all of your viewers should be forced to read the description, before they can play the video! I've done several of each - unless you already have Ryzen hardware that you want to re-use, I'd stick with Intel. You might save a couple of hundred bucks, but with Intel, everything just works better, is more stable and there are far more resources for support. Having said that, I'd be interested to see what the new generation Ryzen chips are like with Hackintosh.

I built a higher end PC last year to do video editing, and would love to convert it into a Hackintosh. Thanks a lot to your videos, they were of great help to get my Hackintosh build. I got it to run smoothly. The only thing is that while booting, it shows some pink stripes on the screen and freezes for a second, but then it continues and runs perfectly. I believe it has something to do with DVMT preallocated memory in Bios setting, have you ever experience this, can you give some advice?

Regarding the answer about the Radeon VII freezes, it also happens for me with a Sapphire card. I haven’t found the cause but it seems to happen more often when Adobe apps are opened for a long period of time.

Hi Teresa. My nuc5i5myhe i5 5300u using an intel hd 5500 works perfectly with Catalina, everything is as smooth as silk. I encountered one weird thing i never had using hackintoshes before. When i click About my mac and also in a system report under the graphics section, it says there that the gpu being used is intel iris 6100 instead of an intel hd 5500. Hi. Great videos with plenty of usefull info. even for us that has done this a few times. Big thumbs up! But i have a question, i have been using an older 10gbe sfp+ adapter for a while. Now its time to upgrade, and im looking for a 10gbe card that works with macos. Preferably on the mainboard. New system is probably going to be with just nvme storage, hopefully included 10gbe, the wifi+bluetooth card you recomended and thunderbold. Maybe its asking too much.

I didn't tested any motherboard with onboard 10gig ethernet. I would go for thunderbol to ethernet or optic adapter. Don't forget switchinf from SFP+ to 10gig Ethernet will rise your expenses significantly, so I would stick with all SFP+ infrastructure

@@MorgonautHackintosh Thunderbolt to ethernet is crazy expensive. And yes, i got all sfp+ intrastructure already. Using an old 10gig card that has official drivers for osx, but its starting to bug. And enterprise hardware ment for servers require more airflow. I see gigabyte have the extreme series with 10gig hardware.

I very much enjoy watching this video and your previous videos although I can't say I have watched all of them. There is nothing wrong with your voice I think its wonderful and I do enjoy listening to you talk. I know how frustrating it can be when you go over everything in great detail and people just don't follow the instructions. I have been there more times then I care to mention. I do have an interest one day to do a Hackintosh build but lately I have other projects that consume my time. Keep up the good your doing a great job!

I’ll like built a silencious Linux Cent OS to work with Blender, Da Vinci Resolve & Painter. I’ll like work with nvidia (silencious), the reason why I don’t built a hackintosh. I’m with apple since 1998. So, may be you’ve got a liste and a way to built this machine, like for your hackintosh ? CentOS is good old school system, I see no reason why it should not run for you. Just bare in mind for use with Resolve you would need some decklink or intensity card

Hi Morgonaut Just a message the say thanks for your video on Hackintosh. There is my Hackintosh info Gigabyte z370m d3h Ati RX560 4g Crucial ddr4 4g x 2 Seatgate 2 Tb I followed every instruction you stated in for video But changed 2 things When it came to installing boot loader onto usb after copying Mojave 10.14.6 I needed to install appleALC in the clover section with Lilu WhateverGreen FakeSMC. I also needed to place IntelMausiEthernet.kext into other folder or could not get App Store working If I don’t place intelMausiEthernet.kext into other folder and sigh in when Mojave Boots first time I could just install that kexts to get App Store to work. Just thought you want to know And thanks again this was the best instruction I have ever used as I have been using mackintosh for 14 years.

Some people never read the manual. My friend built the 14 core hack. Kept complaining it wouldn't boot properly. Asked if he adjusted the bios. No. Every week, did you adjust the bios? No. Eventually he got it working. What did you do? Adjusted the bios.
