Last night I was crying that Mormon and his family were teaching in a church, I was surprised about Mormon’s wife comforting and helping a widow and her children, and I was more surprised that there are church members other him and his son because for the longest time I thought that those two were the only disciples of Jesus Christ but I also wondered if the wife was righteous was well.

No, Paul taught about faith, hope, and charity. Joseph Smith rephrased 19th sermons on the topics, possibly penned by Vicesimus Knox, and put them in the mouth of a fictional character named Mormon. If you feel the spirit hearing, “Mormon’s,” words, it’s because faith, hope, and charity are true principles. You don’t need any middleman, and especially not a fraudulent one, between you and the truth. Have fun researching history and God bless.

May God bless your journey towards truth, my good brother. From my perspective, it makes sense that prophets have words that intersect since God inspires them. I grew up with Paul's words, much like he grew up with the words of Old Testament prophets. As Paul was guided to Christ and to further truth, so was I. Also like him, however, I once rejected it. But God, in His mercy, softened my heart. Going with my lds friend to church and seeing the light they had and answers to questions by the Holy Ghost softened my heart. Paul was told he was "kicking against the pricks" as he persecuted Christ's church. I know the Church of Jesus Christ is true because I was guided by God to know. I have seen miracles, but the Holy Ghost is the greatest testament. If anyone wants to know what the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches, they are welcome on Sundays or to meet with members or missionaries. Again, may God bless your journey.

The same way Paul came to be convinced of the good news (Gal 1:11-12) I also have come to know that God really did call and raise up Joseph Smith to be His prophet and that the Book of Mormon is authentic word of God.

I find Moroni's testimony and sermon very credible that God speaks to His prophets and children in another place other than Jerusalem. It's a marvelous witness of God's love he has for all his children bringing the Gospel to the America's and not just Jersualem. Who knows if other scripture will be revealed to other sheep of His fold one day. 😊
