Thank you Steven for all you do.I hope you and your's find continuing peace in the fact that you have inspired others who FEEL trapped. Also thanks to mormonstories for being a beam of light that shines on the faces of those who know the contrived emptiness of institutional manipulation.

I've enjoyed listening to this former Mormon's story; a lot of wise insights (compassion, etc.).

I love that he walks barefoot everywhere now. Somehow that feels so appropriate after leaving the church. 😂❤️❤️❤️

Steve seems to be living honestly. I admire that. I wonder if all the drama against the Mormon Church is worth it. I say this because they are so powerful. I admire your tenacious nature. Keep smiling.

At Burpengary Ward in Australia they do have more people coming to church. But surprising there continues to be a high turnover of people. The ward may possibly have a congregation somewhere between 300 to 400 people.I have observed that there has only been about 12 people that have had regular attendance for a period of about 5 years. All the others have come and gone. They have 3000 members who do not go to church.Centenary lakes ward has a lot of trouble getting members to do home teaching. There appears to be a lack of interest.Burpengary Ward also has the same problem.

Let believers believe this church needs to change its thinking

Once again I must say that without exception it would be better to stay in the church even though it is not 100% true I think it has enough of the truth to be a safe place and live a good life, Stephen is a very special man and I hope he finds real happiness, as far as the church is concerned it should completely re form and change most of its thinking and doctrines for the common good of its members and stop hurting good people

Great podcast. Your excommunication without a trial and keeping it from you made my blood boil. Only true church??? Yah right!!! You should have an exclusive interview with your local news channel and have it broadcasted, to warn non-LDS about what could happen to them if they join the LDS faith, and then have doubts. Have fun walking barefoot ... Haha.

I was sympathetic in the beginning but he got off on demanding minutes of the meetings and trying to build a lawsuit against the church and that’s where he lost me.
