😂😂😂😂😣😣 I am not a morning person, I've never been one. I was the child that would sleep until 12 everyday if nobody woke me up. Then I got a little sister and I was happy since I was the only girl in my family but the more my sister grew up the freakier she got. There is 8 years between us and this was when she was around the age of 5 or 6. We slept in the same room and on school nights she would wake up before the alarm and play by the bedside lamp... while completely undressed. Occasionally she would just stand by my bed and stare at me as I slept or she would climb onto my bed and step me until I either woke up or fell because there was no more place to move. She wrote my name on one of her dolls, plucked it's hair and ripped the head off. Worst is she loved saying my name. I could be sleeping and just hear her whispering my name as she stood watching me, I would go bath and she would knock on the door and scream my name like she was being murdered. I was honestly afraid of my sister for a good 2 years of my life.

I am a night owl that taught myself early mornings. No matter how much you sleep your battery will start out low so if you wake up in plenty time before you have to get up and adult you can wake up slowly and take time to recharge. The human body was meant to wake up gradually from gradual daylight so you feel way better when you do that. An hour in the morning of not adulting makes adulting much easier. You are very likely dehydrated in the morning too and that can cause headaches so try to drink some water before you have your coffee. It takes a while to get the body used to a routine but life is definitely easier if you give yourself a zombie morning in peace that doesn't take any thinking or feeling, just existing. Sleep will not make you less tired, getting the sleep hormones out of your body will.

My youngest son would stare at me until I woke up.. but why would they need to be an inch from your face?

I was a sleepwalker as a kid, pretty sure I scared my parents plenty of times. Funny thing is, they would let me go on sleepovers, but they wouldn't tell the adults that I sleepwalk. So, it was just a surprise. Next day, they'd be like, "Um, so, she came in our room in the middle of the night, and tried to use it as a bathroom." My dad, "Yeah, pretty funny, huh? Sometimes she wanders outside!"

The whole thing about the kid staring at him while he's sleeping had me crying laughing because that's me when I was a kid. According to all my relatives when I had a nightmare I used to stand at the foot of the bed and stare at them. Not a word. And when I saw some sign that they were awake I'd crawl under the blankets and up to the top of the bed then fall asleep. Not a sound. Just a stare then off to dream land.

I remember staring at my parents while they slept. I would do it because I recently watched a horror movie and I couldn’t sleep or because I wanted water, But I just never got the guts to do it myself. But after staring for a while, I just couldn’t say anything because I just didn’t know how to wake them up and I didn’t want to ruin their rest. Like I would think these things in my head during it.

My kids thought I had a sleeping disorder because (when they were little) I would fall asleep every time we went on a long car trip. As soon as my husband pulled out onto the highway, I’d put my head against the window and close my eyes. The real reason? BECAUSE I WAS TIRED OF LISTENING TO THEM. On one trip (2hours), my son was silent for a TOTAL of 43 seconds! 🥺

I had my 5 year old nephew do that to me when I slept over at my sisters house. I couldn't sleep for the rest of the night. No amount of coffee that day helped me.
