We might get disappointed. In a Scorpion and Sub-Zero clash, Kuai Liang tells Bi Han to stay away from Harumi and Bi Han replies, "Family is not off limits in this conflict." Very much implying Bi Han has plans to go after her. Which makes me think Bi Han wants to destroy everything Kuai Liang loves... which means Harumi AND Tomas. Bi Han's ending is him and Sektor conspiring to turn the Lin Kuei into robots. I think Bi Han intends to capture Smoke, force cyberization upon him, and use Tomas to kill Kuai Liang. I sincerely hope I'm wrong. Smoke is my favorite. 🥺

What I find cool is that there seems to be miniature stories within these dialogues. I loved Smoke ever since I learned how to unlock him in MKII. I loved that he and Kuai Liang were such good friends. It broke my heart when they cyberized him in the original timeline. Ed Boone tried throwing us a bone in MK Deception and Armageddon but it didn't answer all the questions. The second timeline he gets saved and Kuai Liang was cyberized and even though I was invested because of Tomas it still broke my heart because all it did was create the same problem in a different way. Didn't help that Smoke was made a revenant either. Both timelines made Kuai Liang seem indifferent to his friendship with Tomas. This new timeline is just.... man all my hopes and dreams for Smoke are made real here. He's a good guy with skill and wants to help. An orphan who knows the value of family. Shaky with his abilities and striving to be as good as his big brothers. Being just as heartbroken by Bi Han's betrayal as Kuai Liang. Bruh... all that BS in the past two timelines was worth the wait. Smoke is just the dopest. PS Reptile's rework follows a similar vein for me. I can't tell you how legit it is to see Syzoth happy. Hope he meets Khameleon in this timeline then it would be perfect.

Khameleon was shown as cameo fighter to Tanya when you first fought her during the story, and mentioned in dialogue between Tanya and Syzoth as a Zaterran Umgadi, although in the story they did not meet

Umgadis are taken away from their birth family during infancy, this makes sense because this way the members don't have allegiance or bias based off of their race/culture/ideology, Khameleon like other umgadi members do not have any connection with her birth place or family, so she wouldn't have any connection with Syzoth.@@frankhansman2111

It actually speaks volumes of Bi Han and Kuai Liang's father that Tomas loved this family so much. He loved this family that strongly even having known his bio-mom and sister. Considering how some of the character comment on smoke's youth (sindel saying how young he is, quan chi commenting on smoke's youthful attitude) we can probably assume he is most likely the youngest character in the game, since the other characters do not get commented on for being youthful. In my mind he's early 20s, like 20-23, while kuai liang and bihan are around 29-33
