I really hated that we fought Rain, Sindel and saw Smoke, Kabal, Nightwolf and Stryker in the cutscenes, but never got to play as them. Surely, one might think that since the characters already had the models in the game and some even had their movesets coded in, it would be easy for the devs to add them in the game, but nope! Instead, we got Leatherface, Jason, Predator and Alien. It's fine to add one guest character, two at most, but most of the DLCs are just guest characters. Same with Injustice 2 and now in MK11, we have Rambo, Robocop, Terminator, and Joker. Smh.

They couldn’t exactly just port over Rain, Sindel and Baraka since their entire move set is reused from MK9, like how Sektor and Cyrax reuse Triborgs move set in MK11. The only new thing made for those characters where their voice acting and costumes, they don’t even have x-rays or fatalities

you forgot Goro, he's a DLC Character Too You Know, In fact, this is like the 2nd time where you didn't include one of the Exclusive Characters or Pre Order Exclusive Characters that those characters might as well be DLC Characters in a Mortal Kombat DLC Wasted Plotential Video. The First was Kratos from God of War (the Old Kratos not the New Kratos) who appeared as a guest character in Mortal Kombat 9, which was exclusive to the PS3 Version, and after doing some digging I found out that Tremor also appeared in the 2011 MK Reboot aka MK9, but exclusive to the PSVITA Version, which makes Tremor the Second.

Like want to know some true wasted potential? Like MK11 is a Footsies based Mortal Kombat right? How in the hell did Cyrax, Sektor, & Kenshi not get added in? The characters known for their neutral, setup, & mind games. Kenshi is great with pokes, space control, & counter hits. Cyrax is great with setups, anti airs, & combos. Sektor is great with zoning, space control, & counter hits. Like those three with their kits would've made the most sense in a Footsies based MK game.

You know, I honestly adore the idea of the guests' story chapters being parts of movies either made or directed by Johnny, and using them to give a better look to Cassie's backstory and relationships with her parents is also pretty brilliant too. P.S. I still don't get what's wrong with Jax's alternate costume from the 3D era, I get that it loosely resembles a gangster's outfit but I think it's more of a coincidence than anything else.

I wish they'd create original characters inspired by the guests and just give them a skin of the characters that inspired it. Like imagine if Kotal had been more inspired by Predator or D'Vorah by Alien. Also opens up slots for actual fucking MK characters in the dlc. We could've had Fujin and Rain in MKX too. Then if you run into a situation like Ash, where they couldn't end up doing his DLC. You're out a skin, not a character.

I remember reading somewhere that Ed Boon was actually a good friend of the original leatherface actor, Gunner Hansen. That's why Leatherface got 3 completely different looking costumes for his variations. Gunner passed away a year before Bubba was added into MKX, I imagine his addition may have been a tribute from Boon.

Hey snake, imagine thse guest characters were actuall in universe characters? Like the xenomitph os simply a kytinn born after the death of baraka, it's host. Jason is simply a undeath in earthrealm that protects a specific place. Leatherface could become an insane cannibalistic lunatic that uses a chainsaw. Joker, just like Freddy, are simply creatures from Chaosrealm, who just like Havic, wish yo dprwad chaos across the realms. Robocop is simply a cyborg cop (Maybe Stryker?), Terminator is a machine send back in time to make sure that Earthrealm is protected in order to make sure thst the machine is created in the future. The predator (female one) is an unknown being, a zaterran perhaps that lived in Earthrealm. She could have a potential story with Reptile. Rambo is simply a mercenary from the SF, and Kratos could be like Scorpion himself, a dead man who wishes revenge. But instead of wanting vengence against a specific person, he wishes to rid reality from all the gods, the elder gods and titans included.😅😅😅😅

Having an elseworld type dlc story with alien would be so fucking sick. Just having it be the xenomorph spreading like a virus through the mk universe. Maybe some characters would be immune to the xenomorphs like raiden who would die but then come back to life, dvorah would just move the chest bruster out of her body as she's just a hive and maybe noob. Just having these 3 characters so opposed to each other and not wanting to help but having to come together to save the realms would be awesome. Raiden obviously would feel obligated to do so, dvorah cares only for her survival and would die out of the xenomorphs took over and noob because he wants to rule the neatherleam and can't do that if he's overrun by the xenomorphs. It would be really sick if he had to fight against the xenomorph that burst through kuai Liang aswell. A cryomancer spawned xenomorph might be sick but I don't know how it would use the ice powers. That's what I would want anyway.

Perhaps with Injustice 2 you can the two characters chapters as it was the game that introduced it. Like Sub and Raiden sharing a chapter on them trying to figure out why they are in a different world. And Starfire with Red Hood as a nod to their partnership. TMNT can just team up with Batman and fight his villains in a lose adaptation of their crossovers

The more I see these videos, the more I think game companies aren't even trying to make good games anymore. SEGA, NRS, Bethesda, EA all have done this. Sonic Forces they hype up the new villain Infinite and do barely anything with him, treating him as a glorified ad for another flop. Worse than throwing Infinite's potential away they bury him in the Episode Shadow add on. MK11 does a similar treatment to Shao Kahn. Making him a cash grab and ruining him as well. Not to mention having Sindel go 180 with no explanation. Bethesda reached new levels of infamy with Fallout 76. And I doubt EA needs explanation anymore. How long before people start assuming every new game will fail and end the industry. The bad game cash grabs need to stop.

It’s both because if WB Studios just let him have full control on all of the Mortal Kombat properties than WB Studios would have trillions of dollars already because fans like him create better projects, and they more profits off their own fan comics than Disney makes off of Marvel comics and WB Studios making profits off of the IDW MKX comics and the DC comics.
