Watching this again because I miss going to onsen in Japan.

Hi👋 Tony-san😇Thank you for your comment 😍 Tsuru no Yu is the same as Kusatsu, the hot spring water is white. But I personally might recommend this onsen more. The water is just the right temperature and the atmosphere of the inn is very nice.

Hi.

Hi 👋 Dwi-san. Thank you for your comment 😊Don't worry, it's warm inside the Ryokan, and if you take a onsen , you won't be cold even if you walk in the snow!⛄️So, if you have a chance, please visit here! And you too, have a lovely weekend 🥰

Wonderful for us to “experience” your stay in winter. I noticed the dining area has only a cushion on the tatami mat, so do you have to bend and tuck your legs in true japanese style to eat? That would be most difficult for foreigners.
@GetToKnowJapanTogether9 ай бұрын
Hi 🥰 Traveljet-san, Yes, indeed, there were only a few cushions. 😅 Even for me, sitting in the traditional seiza style is challenging, so I sat with my legs to the side. Actually, there are chairs designed specifically for tatami rooms. Most accommodations should have them, so if you ask, they'll provide them for you! Tsurunoyu is a wonderful inn, so I'd be delighted if you could experience it too!😊Arigatou for your comment

@@nateshf9303 Also, if you make reservations at other inns in Nyuto Onsen, you can take the Yumeguri-go shuttle bus to visit other Nyuto Onsen hot springs. The Yumeguri-cho(Hot spring stamp book) that allows you to enter 7 hot springs in Nyuto Onsen is available for 2,500 yen, or 1,000 yen for the shuttle bus only! The Yumeguri-go is not listed on the English website of Nyuto Onsen, so if you translate the Japanese website into English, you will find information on the Yumeguri-go. Bon voyage!😉

Hi 😁 Felicia-san, thanks for your comment. Tsuru no Yu in winter was so beautiful that it left me speechless! I stayed there for one night from Feb. 14. This year, JR East has affordable tickets available starting from Feb. 14. I highly recommend a visit! I'm considering going here next winter but my only concern is that is it ok for people who have tattoo to enter?
@GetToKnowJapanTogether9 ай бұрын
Hiel malan malan-san, thank you for your comment and Happy Valentine's Day! 😉I inquired about tattoos at Tsuru no Yu Onsen. They confirmed that you can bathe even if you have tattoos! 👍While they appreciate it if you can cover them up with tape or something similar, if the tattoo is extensive and cannot be covered, they said it is fine to leave it as is. Tsuru no Yu is a very nice inn and the hot springs are great! Please enjoy your stay😉
