I would say Hong Kong, as they are one of the expensives country to live in (house/appartment wise) due to no expension available. Might be able to compare with NYC. See if you can find some great properties their to tour while on vacation before going to other countries in Asia.

Big fan of Ryan and loved following this trip but this is incorrect. I've been to St. Regis Maldives, and toured the John J. Astor Villa as well, it's fine but FAR from the best, largest or most expensive in the Maldives. Cheval Blanc (LVMH's flagship hotel brand) is arguably the best in Maldives. Their owner's villa/island goes for much more. The quality is just another league. St. Regis isn't even close. In addition, while Four Seasons' two normal resorts aren't anything special, their Private Island that's only for exclusive use is much larger and more expensive than St. Regis as well. Just saying because this happens to be my profession (luxury travel advisor) but love the Serhant team's content!

@Hao Tang The Four Seasons Private Island is actually cheaper on a per person basis (even though the total cost is more) as it can accommodate many more guests than the JJA at St. Regis.

@@yvr2002rtw That's a fair point! However, at this level, people aren't necessarily maxing out the occupancy allowance. Sure, some do. Say, large families or big group of friends but clients at this level doesn't want to nor need to round up 20+ of their friends to rent the island. Many of my clients who does exclusive use of villas or islands won't use all the rooms. Same with clients who fly private. I just quoted a client a 14 passenger Global 6000, yet there are 6 people in the cabin. I know one of the NFL owners (can't share who it is) booked the Cheval Blanc Owner's Villa/Island and it was just his immediate family of few people. I'm sure Ryan sees the same with some of the crazy/massive homes he sells. But I do get your point. Thanks for sharing!
