Hi Janet, I wanted you to know that on this river (Dijlah) and two years ago (21/march/2019) a tragedy happened in Mosul when a huge Ferry sank into the river, and more than 120 people including women and children died when the ferry was taking people into a tourism island to have fun on Mother’s Day but a lot of children came back without mom, it was a painful time for all Iraqi people, Mosul went through so much terrible and sadness but still trying to get back to its beauty again. sorry for any grammatical mistake ( English is not my first language) and thank you Janet for coming to Iraq you are very welcome at any time ❤️

At least when Isis was defeated in Iraq , the Iraqi government managed to keep control of the country , cannot compare Iraqi military to Afghan military . Respect for Iraq and it's armed forces .

When there is a country in which there are many sects, there will certainly be treachery through the leadership. What happened in Afghanistan is like what happened in Mosul in Iraq. The Sunni leaders in Mosul sold Mosul to ISIS because they are of the same sect and nationalism and made the Shiites besiege and kill. This is a fact that you must know and the Sunni leaders today are outside the country and they They are also wanted by Interpol

the only difference being that isis were a foreign bunch mainly from the west funded by the west to cause destruction and destabilization while taliban are country men rightfully taking control of their country after 20 years of american and western occupation and who share the support of most afghans

Fun fact : the mosque in 14:25 is still old it was built in 1756 and was fixed after the isis war Another fun fact the castle on the river was destroyed even before the isis war .

The US Army limited its role to bombing by planes, and half of its air raids had a negative impact because it did not mind destroying residential buildings. Complete to kill one terrorist

So sad to see the historical city of Mosul so devastated, but I thank you for showing that to the world, ISIS is bad and have done bad things, nevertheless the most distractions were done not by ISIS but by the heavy and mercyless Bombardment on the city by the Iraqi and allied forces that caused thousands of innocents to be killed and what you have seen of devastating. Mosul and its people are strong enough to rebuild there city with the help of all good intention people. Thanks again.
