Conformity leads to mediocrity. You are right on with these tips. I am probably your mom's age and I have kept off 78 lbs. for almost 50 years. I am up at 5AM to pray and then hit the gym 4-5 times a week. When I worked, I would hit the gym right after work because I started work so early. I get comments from people who think you should take it easy in this stage of life. I limit time spent with people content with mediocrity. The payoff for living this way is feeling great and being healthy!

Really inspiring good for you ! ... but calling people “mediocre” just because they give you an advice that contradicts your routine, is not appropriate. Those “mediocres” might have their own achievements and goals, they can be also productive at their own way. Their big mistake was to give you an advice. . I do a lot a day including running outdoors 2 miles without waking up at 5 am, and every year I do accomplish something. For me is key to combine Success with humility. Anyways, congratulations again for your discipline and routine. 👏

I love this Sharon! I'm "only" 34 but wanting to really be different then the other older folks that are in my life. They are not interested in learning, improving, health, etc. I love hearing this sort of stuff from people who are older and wiser than myself. Great advice!

It took me 19 years to get to beauty school. I listened to people who told me I was too stupid to be successful as a hairstylist. December is my 1 year anniversary!! I know there is so much to learn but, I am leaps and bounds better than I was. The future is now exciting to me and I feel like a teenager at 48. Where were you when I was 21 you could have saved me from the school of hard knocks! I am 67 now any everything you say is absolutely true and excellent advice. I will never stop learning and will gravitate to people either young or old who know their stuff, being organic or GMO you can learn from both and mixed your own personal cocktail of life. Its Christmas morning and I’m waiting for my husband to get home from his night shift at work. This video is the only KZbin video I have actually took notes on. A lot of things stood out for me that I either need to tweak in the New Year or implement in my life ASAP. For example, I wake up at 4am, but I don’t go to the gym. Recently I had a one on one meeting with my big boss at work and talked about future opportunities. Things are looking in the right direction but I need to be the one to execute them!

Right on Ms. Tracy! I can most definitely relate and agree with you on a majority of your 14 tips that successful people do. Something I would add would be, people that our successful - 1. LOVE themselves 2. They 💯 could careless what anyone thinks of them! That is a fact. 3. They do not talk about their success. They do not need to. They show you. Actions speak way louder than words. 4. They do not gossip or talk poorly of other people. They just really do not care. To waste their energy on nonsense. ( I remember this from your other video.) 5. They do not listen to opinions of others. They will decide for themselves if they like something or someone based on their own judgment. 6. They are not “fake.” 7. They will be the first to admit a fault in something they have done wrong. Accept the blame and move on. Which you did mention this. 8. Successful people LISTEN TO LISTEN! They do not listen to respond, like most of America does. They actually listen to what the person is saying. 9. They ask questions and admit when they do not understand something. It’s not beneath them. That is how we all learn and grow. I personally do not necessarily agree with waking up early. Their are 24 hours in a day for a reason and I feel you get done what you need to get done when it’s most convenient for you. Worrying about “time” adds stress to anyone ‘s life. Plus, we are not running on our time, we are running on God’s time. 😉 Either way, OUTSTANDING video Tracy! Well done! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Keep it up!

I have been watching your videos on and off for the past month. I have to say you are wonderful!!!! I am 70 years old and I am starting a new career as a Pilates instructor. I am still in training. I have sustained a broken toe and now a severe pinched hip nerve in the process. Your motivational tips are helping me a lot to deal with the inevitable challenges that everyone experiences. Hi Tracy, just so right on. I have shared with my granddaughters and also my sister, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She seems to be adrift and needs some “rocks” to help her feel back in control of her life, not vice versa. This will be wonderful for her, when the time is right. Hi Tracy. I discovered your channel a month ago when I was watching various videos on poise. I immediately was drawn to your maturity and composure, and started watching your other videos. When I first saw this video, it really struck a chord with me. For some reason, YOU were the person who finally motivated me to get up at 4am every day and work out. I've been trying, unsuccessfully, for 3 years to find a rhythm in my self care journey, and thank goodness I found you, because you are so inspiring to me! You said not to say "I want to lose weight" but to *define* your goals specifically. So you know, one month ago when I first saw this video, I said, "for the next month, I'm going to get up every day at 4am and work out, and after I succeed, I'm going to comment on this video and thank Tracy." Well, Tracy, I did it. You motivated me to stick to a routine longer than I have in my life, and I have gotten up every day and started my day with 3 miles on the treadmill. It's been incredible for my mental health and well being, and I thank you for your motivation and for all of the effort you put into your content, which I am loving.

I agree, I also do not like to exercise. I wake up, eat breakfast, drink my coffee and watch a lil youtube. I would much rather be watching more YT in the morning but I have to make sure that I wake up early enough to fit in exercise also before work. I feel a sense of accomplishment as I start my day if I get up early enough to squeeze this in. Great video & very motivational!
